After the lose at Cardiff SB seemed to indicate a few fresh faces at Birmingham. I expect Jakupovic, Meyler and Bruce to start. (Brady still on the bench). Not going to get onto the back of Amos but we need to get a look at Jakupovic seeing as he's ours. Lot depends on any injuries in the International matched, but onward and upward. Get a win at Birmingham and Cardiff will be soon forgotten. Jakupovic. Chester. Faye. Bruce. Elmo. Koren. Meyler. McKenna. Quinn. Aluko. Simpson.
Aluko and Simpson must start for the rest of the season thats all I'm bothered about. Hard luck for Proschwitz and Mclean but these guys can score even if we play crap and need to be on the pitch as much as possible.
Simpson was unlucky not to be on the score sheet again, I saw his goal which was ruled out on Tiger player and he certainly didn't seem to handle it.
I would play Jakupovic Chester Faye Bruce Elmo Koren Meyler Quinn Brady Aluko Simpson Although I think it will be Amos Chester Faye McShane Elmo Koren Evans Quinn Rosenoir Aluko Simpson
I like the look of your top team. I wouldn't change the 'keeper but apart from that I think that's our best XI until Hobbs is back.
My first league game of the season. And it's on my doorstep! Been looking forward to this since the fixtures can out. Got the lads coming down for a beer (or 10) and 3 points!!! We have been very close to giving someone s full on arse raping. I really hope it happens on the 17th!!! UTT
Has anyone here seen Jakupovic actually play? If you think Amos is a calamity waiting to happen then watch this space. Granted I've only seen him once. It was one of the worst keeping displays I can remember, no wonder SB doesn't rate him. He looks dreadful.
I've not seen Jakupovic play but i'm sick of Amos making mistakes. I wanted to give the lad a chance but he is costing us goals evry game now
No doubt I'd prefer an experienced hand between the sticks but Jakupovic isn't the answer IMO. He talks a lot but he's ****e under a high ball and when I saw him his handling was a bag of **** as well. Brucey would have seen him plenty in training and it would appear he doesn't fancy him that much either. It would also appear that SB is backing Amos all the way so we'd better get used to seeing him play. For the record I honestly don't mind Amos and think he's a decent keeper.
I thought Brucey would stick with him, but based on this, I think he may well be dropped on Saturday... http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-17299832-detail/story.html?
Jakupovic is an international number 1 I believe. He looks a great shot stopper in the warm ups (a lot better than oxley ever did anyway). I'd like to see him get a chance, if it wasn't for Amos we'd be top of the league, he's ****e.
Ha ha! I have no doubt that Amos will be a top keeper but his errors are costing us points and there has to come a time when Bruce says enough is enough
