Question for Chelsea fans. On a scale of 1-10, how much do you fear we will score a goal every time we attack? 1? 2? 3?
Where are all these comments from. The first goal was set up by the referee! We have been wasteful with our possession but we are defiantly not being thumped here.
We're not being thumped, Chelsea don't look that good; but we have no ideas of what to do with the ball. The system doesn't suit us, our CBs look confused at times and we lack players in the middle to control the game. Allen is outmuscled and out passed far too easy, Gerrard and Enrique keep looking for the long pass to....Sterling. Suarez is mostly isolated with no one near him. Is Sahin even on the pitch? I hope BR changes things at half time, we need it.
Our midfield are playing like they just met. Suarez keeps turning with disgust at a complete lack of support from them. Our Defence looks very very disjointed with everyone covering for Carragher's standing still lack of pace (yes the goal was an individual error from sAgger) Enrique looks mental. It's not terrible because for all that Chelsea have been ineffective up front and we're only 1 behind so a rearrange & half time gee up and we're still in this.
Oh and I've seen nothing of Sahin that makes me believe he's all that. First year here of course but if he continues like this would you risk actually buying him?
Yes but they are not! They have not been clinical and hopefully this may cost them later on; though i must admit the quality gap is showing at the moment. Chelsea have been fantastic on the break but have failed to capitalize on our mistakes. A deserved 1-0 for them, however we were unlucky considering how there goal was scored. Lets not forget though; we have had a lot of the ball, maybe we can make the changes required in order to use this possession more effectively?
