Good work as usual chris, makes for pretty depressing reading though, I was hoping for lots of baseless optimism on here to lift my hopes for today but I still cant see anything other than a defeat.

I think if it is the team which seems to have been leaked it will turn into more of a flat back 5. Can't see the full backs getting forward too much. Might not be a bad idea given they've got 4 such attacking players who aren't really going to track back much. Sterlings pace could hurt them on the counter and I fancy Suarez to get a goal. Worried about Carra playing though, not sure he can cope with the likes of Torres, Matta, Oscar and Hazard anymore. I think it will be quite a high scoring game.

On a side note, why is our line up on twitter days before the game? This has happened several times this season and been accurate. I dont think the manager would be too impressed with one of the players leaking it

<yikes> i do hope carra is not playing, I dont usually look at line ups before matchday as they are usually wrong, obviously some will be right but that is just a matter of chance rather than knowledge.

I'd p*ss myself laughing if we bring Joe Cole on towards the end and he gets the equalizer / winner. Not going to happen, but, if it did, it'd be hysterical. He always used to score against us when he was at Chelsea.

I agree with Gerrez that, with this Chelsea team, the best form of defense is attack. We need to successfully play possession football and try to utilise the pace of Sterling and the guile of Suarez. If we sit back and try to defend they'll destroy us.

There's still a chance we could get something from this game, but a draw would be a fantastic result, for me.

It may not be pretty and it may test the nerves BUT we've done it before when we've been written off before the game at Chelsea and secured a win. So, I'm going for a win today.

Boris the Spider. Firstly we haven't played Sunderland at home. Secondly our home performances have been a major part of our problem - but we are playing Chelsea AWAY!

After that, thanks for your interest and perhaps in a few decades time you can look forward to The Blades getting back to the Premiership.<ok>

Do you actually watch football? We've been like this for years, failing to beat teams we really should yet matching the big-boys head to head. Can't remember the last time we were thrashed by a large club, can remember plenty of times we've dished it out though

I reckon it's going to be a tight game, with us taking plenty of possession and bossing the midfield, but being caught on the break by the speed and trickery of the likes of Mata and Hazard.

I predicted that we would win, but all I can see is a draw really.

People never back us against the big teams but in recent years, our best performances have come against them.

I'm more worried about us playing Stoke at home then Chelski away!

So, I'm going with a Liverpool win, but it'll be a tight game. Their billion pound forward 4 are good, but pretty poor at helping the team defensively so there'll be a few goals today. I hope Terry plays, no way he can handle Suarez trickery or Sterling's pace, he's too old and slow to cope (much like Carra against Mata, Oscar and Hazard).

5-4-1 might actually work. It's something different to what they play against normally in the PL and it gives them something else to think about. The 5 at the back will also help to contain their creative trio but we all know how dangerous Johnson can be pushing forward and no chance will their forward four track back which'll leave them exposed on the wings. 5-4-1 keeps our width, gives us bodies at the back to contain them and could be good - if we get players forward which is usually where we struggle. Big game for Sahin I hope!

That's what I like to see,a bit of optimism.Beat them twice at their place last season
so why the hell not.Yeah, there's been a few changes in both camps since then but
we are more than capable of getting something out of this game! Score draw for me.

Well Saint,I would not be surprised if we beat them or they beat us.If I was putting money on
it(which I'm not) I would go for the 'sit on the fence' score draw.

    Just pulling your leg, Red.
I read your first line and was expecting a 5-0 prediction or something. As I said earlier, I always go for a win, but I wouldn't put money on it ( I don't gamble either).
