Cant believe im doing this in November, but reckon we need 11 wins from 27 games (nearly half the games left) , going to be some feat now :- Homes Saints Villa Fulham Norwich Sunderland Wigan Stoke Aways Wigan Saints Villa Reading For everyone of those games above we dont win, we are going to need to beat a top 10 team like spurs / liverpool / everton / newcastle etc . Im putting my hand up and admitting I have been wrong, Hughes should have gone earlier, as this is a mountain to climb, whether for him or a new manager. Im just hoping we dont go silly in Jan window now
That would give you 37 points in total without you even drawing any games. I'd guess 8 more draws, and 8 wins would be enough, providing the wins were against those around you in the table which you've taken as your starting point. If you draw with those around you you'll need 9 wins, and if you lose those you'll probably need 10, although that would be for all the teams around you to have beaten you (you only need to pass 2 of them).
Can you send that over to TF? For an Economics bloke, TF seems unable to figure out that we're in serious trouble.
And for every game where MH is still in charge our next manager will have to win another game just to make up the points.
Can't believe that we are already discussing wins, draws and losses after only 10 or 11 games into the season. I don't think I was being overly optimistic at the start of the season to think that we may be a mid table. Looks like another rough and bumpy ride until May
