Just watching Jay playing for Wednesday, looks a shadow of his former self. I remember such a stylish footballer. Looks heavy and has gone back maybe to the player he was before we made him good!

Wednesday in trouble, Bothroyd must have thought he could rekindle his old touch with Dave Jones,,,,he looks to have filled out a bit, but it could be the new hair style.

2 men of a gentle persuasion talking (can't say g*y as someone might get offended).

First "It was my mother that made me a g*y"

Second "If I buy her the wool will she make me one too?"

    I'll get me coat!!!

Blue, what you meant was 2 homosexuals. It's a perfectly good anglo saxon word, in the Oxford dictionary. It means a man who enjoy sex with other men. What is wrong with the word?
I have a pal who works for a major construction company and every time he goes to one of these PC "Inclusivity" meetings and one of the pinko tutors says Gay, he says, "Do you mean happy or do you mean homosexual, because when I was growing up my mother told me gay meant happy? Are you telling me my mother was wrong?"
They hate it but he has never backed down and they know there is absolutely nothing they can do about it because homosexual is the correct word. (Mind you, most of the tutors on these courses are of the same persuasion, male and female)

I wouldn't say we "made" him. The talen was always there in his younger days but he chose poorly and never reached his full potential. DJ bought Bothroyd to the club and it worked for them both. DJ appeared to get the best out of Bothroyb and all was well until he got his only England cap, it went downhill from there. So no Cardiff did not make him. He can still be an effective player, if he switches on, but he will never be as good as he was when playing in a bluebirds shirt.

up until we signed him he was just drifting from club to club, showing flashes of brilliance but not often enough to warrant being a first choice player for wolves, he acknowledged that he had a poor attitude, and together with jones he agreed that time was running out for him and he needed to knuckle down and work harder......

once he started to believe his own hype his form went out of the window but he is still a good player, just not PL standard and can do a job for a team in the top 6, but he needs to be told he will start every week and not be in and out of the team....
