Hull is, and has always been, full of people who aren't happy unless they are having a moan. Due to their general lack of achievement they put the world to rights by pulling apart those who have achieved a degree of success in life. "Gerroff Delaney, you fcuking Donkey" Etc etc etc
Is that aimed at me? If so i havent lived in HUll for 16 years, I am reasonabley successful and I have never at a game criticised a single City player for their on pitch performance save for Matt Wicks when he was clearly taking the piss and didnt try. I have consistantly on this forum made the point time and again that if fans do not think a player is good enough then abusing the player himself is ridiculous and they should be blaming the manager who thinks he is good enough.
It's aimed at anyone who it applies to. Personally, I would think twice about criticising someone for their behaviour on something as trivial as social media, when they are as well known for their charity and community work as Aaron McLean is.
Better call off this Jimmy Savile investigation then. Of course that is tongue in cheek but I guess some of us view the use of the language and they way he represents our club in different ways. I find it very offensive and some clearly dont. That's all there is really to say on the matter.
It was a pivotal moment. I remember he passed out, and then while seemingly asleep, hunched forward and spewed into his cupped hands. Then sat back again, asleep. Where do you start in trying to move him without spilling sick everywhere? It was only early too. Epic Fail, as people on the Internet like to say.
Urban Social Myth. Most Rangers and Celtic fans are not religious bigots. That some Rangers and Celtic fans wind each other up by falsely claiming to have strong religio-ethnic identities which are offended by the equally false religio-ethnic identities of the other side is not a reason to judge the polity, society and culture of an entire city.
Oh I should only be offended by misogyny or indeed any offensive comments if it's about people I know?
You miss the point. McLean did not say that all women were sluts, he basically said that those women who were offended by his tweets earlier were sluts. OK so he used wording that is not in your view PC, but his point was that he was fed up with women who dressed and acted provocatively in order to get free drinks and nothing more. What would you call them? In my view, they use
It's probably the biggest domestic news story this year. Do I need more reason that that?
What has it got to do with football? Why start a thread on a football forum? Whats your rational behind it?
Said whilst criticising someone else's posts on a social forum. Oh the delicious irony.
I dont trawl though social media sites looking to dish the dirt though, why do it?
Seems Mclean's mates with Titus Bramble, according to Twitter. Hope they don't do all activities together. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-18254475
Would the club shop at Parkhead count as a Catholic area? (I'm guessing Tuesday for this year's official statement dismissing the made up on the internet news that they banned their sale)
I don't know about it described as a Catholic area, it could be better described as a slum, a **** hole etc etc. probably the scabbiest place I have seen, it even gives Cumbernauld a run for its money.
Stuff like this makes me not want to even come on here, he's having a bit of a laugh why don't you stop moaning about anything and everything for 5 minutes whether its the way city are playing or when they are playing well you decide to moan about the way they act. You're pathetic you really are.
3 minutes in... now you know 2. ...on a side note, I've always thought the Gangsta Boo party would be a great retort by anyone from Hull to the Southern-based media when ever they publish something negative about the city. i.e. [translation] You're making out you know something big and negative about Hull, when really you're talking a load of rubbish, so sod off - you're not from Hull and know nothing about it.
Seems like Mclean enjoyed the plane journey down to Cardiff. Maybe even a bit too much. He does seem to tweet about absolutely anything.
He's at the hotel now, chilling with Simpson (who's dudgeons old roomy), after a fun packed coach journey listening to choice fm 'drop da bombs'. What we do without knowing dese tings?!
I think it shows Mclean is good for team spirit and easy to get along with. Pitty he's average at football and not worth we spent on him.
