Here lads, for some reason thought it started at 8 - realised and then realised we were 2:0 down, found a stream, we find two goals - I am God, give me your rep!

Was just thinking this, looked very assured against Liverpool, and if he can do THAT then get him right in the team!

Not to bursting point I hope.

The Ameobi show has Newcastle back on track. Sammy Ameobi plays big brother Shola through, the big man's first touch isn't great but he recovers to toe-poke a low shot in at the near post. What a few minutes for the Magpies.

That was a jizzy few minutes. Lets hope Anita takes some confidence from that goal and kicks on a bit. He has been looking better the last couple of games.

Pretty long I'd imagine; he didn't make the bench.

He's not even on the bench, so pretty long I'd imagine.

All goals are good but Anita's seemed a bit special.

What a hit this is! Yet another poor defensive header is punished in the most ruthless of fashions. Slyvain Marveaux crosses from the left, Tom Hogli heads it out and Vurnon Anita returns it with considerable interest, smashing in a volley from 25 yards into the corner. His first goal for Newcastle. And it's a belter.

Now... Let's hope Anita's belter sparks better goalscoring form than Cheick's did <doh>

Wow, Liverpool's away strip looks so bad, it's worse than our lime strip by a huge margin

I love our lime green kit!!!

Partly because it doubles nicely as a florescent jersey for night-time cycling, but still...

Am I the only one who think Darlo's ground, which has been claimed by thistles seemingly, is in better nick than this one?
