Best of luck Gazza. He's one of only a handful of players post relegation in '96 that would get anywhere near legend status for us. Top player. He didn't really control the ship when he was our "Manager". Flav and Paladini were picking his team and making the substitutions. I like to see a Manager cut his teeth at a lower level and learning his trade. Gregory and O'Neill both started out at Wycombe and went on to be top flight bosses. I hope he does well.
Re: "The 39-year-old had been caretaker boss since Gary Waddock was dismissed at the end of September. In that time he has recorded three wins, three draws and four losses, with the club currently out of the League Two relegation zone on goal difference." I only wish that we could manage that feat (12 pts) over our next 10 games!
........Gareth Bale also had a pretty good game for Spurs this evening, as did Defoe with his hat-trick. He certainly knows how to find the net and his movement is great - I guess it's still Thursday, so always a chance we might still sign him up, eh, Secret Cerny?
