Good Morning ,

Warnock wanted one more challenge before he retired but has he bitten off more than he can chew. Surely, it would have been easier jogging up Everest blindfolded and naked in the dead of night.

What gets me is that Burnley have a population of around 30,000, and are, like it or not, a small club, I just expect more from Leeds Utd.

There you have it folks, Millwall are ahead of us on goal difference. Don't say anything, maybe they won't have noticed....

We are now in 15th position, 7 points from the drop zone, where do we go from here. If the investment comes in, early next January, what are the chances of the play offs?

Warnock said after the game "I think the last time I felt like this I was in Vietnam getting my pockets picked by a 75-year-old woman.

"I don't think I've been as disappointed as this all season, I don't know how we haven't won that. I feel like I've been mugged. You cannot miss chances like we have.

Where was Hall? Why was he not even on the bench?

When we went a goal down, why did we bring on Varney?

One striker (Gray) on the bench <doh>

It kinda takes the mickey. Little Burnley sign Charlie Austin, whilst we signed Billy Paynter.... Something is wrong there....

Morning all. I'll avoid the G word at the start of this. Not a good day at the Office, despite the fact that we apparently played better last night than we did on Friday. Down to 15th & T/O still hasn't happened. What chance Warnock walking or being sacked before the T/O happens?

On the plus side, er.. um.. um.. Ross & Somma could be available for selection shortly. Tell me people, why buy Grey, keep Kisnorbo, & then not pick either of them? Can I presume Hall has picked up a knock, which is why he wasn't playing yesterday? Why does Warnock insist on playing players the wrong side of the pitch? Did White play on the right or left last night? Not a happy bunny this morning!!!

Kissa could not be sold in the Summer as he was injured. Shame we didn't buy his contract out. I think it will be another 2 or 3 weeks til McCormack is fit, even longer for Somma as he has been out for years

Morning all<ok>

It's not a good morning. I don't think I have ever been so down as I'm at this moment.

I don’t think we have any chance of getting in to the play offs unless we start to win game right now, starting with Watford on sat. That is an absolutely must win game and we have to win every home game from now to the season ends. Not only that, but we also have to pick up points away from home to if we want the play offs.
Right now, I can’t see that happening. I just can’t see where we will get the next win. The wins we have got so far has been more like a freak accident that a well-played game.

We've said for a while that he's ****e but Larry obviously didn't believe it or he wouldn't have gone anywhere near him. <doh>

He went missing all the time against us in League 1 and now he's simply not good enough for the Championship <ok>

Charlie Austin was the jewel in hindsight but Larry just went for the wrong Swindler player at the time <laugh>

Forget Somma this year, he has been out for so long IF he comes back a shadow of himself it wont be for a good few weeks after he is back in full training and that is assuming he doesn't break down again.

Morning Elland. I agree in part with Ristac. Somma will be well off a starting place for us for a good while yet. He would be best going to the development squad for a couple of games, then a L1 L2 side for a few weeks. Only then will he be ready to come back to us. Everything will then depend on how he does. If he's anything like his former self, it will be like having a new player. But as I've said before, only time will tell & we can only hope.

Morning all <ok> One thing that really worries me, is the fact that Grayson's udders are 7 places ahead of us in the league. We slated his tactics and many of his signings and his lack of defensive nous. Grayson had to sell their Beckford because he got £8m for him, and he managed to bring in a couple of decentish players, yet shouldn't be as good as our team on paper. Yet they score goals and create and seem a fairly solid unit at the back. Clayton is running midfield and creating goals for Novak and everyone else in every match.

So if Grayson had have been given the backing and not told to sell his best players, would we be in the top 6 this season. Warnock or Grayson - never thought I'd be trying to do a comparison on these 2

If we'd been allowed to strengthen the defence in Jan 2011 we probably wouldn't be in this mess

Fair comment Doc. We'll never know fur sure, but we did take some terrible beatings in Grayson's stint. But clearly 'Udders are backing him, something that woul appear not to have been fully the case whilst at Leeds.

Don't forget though that Huddersfield is just a little town near Leeds. So the expectatons of the fans would be less & there would be less pressure on the players. Give them their day in the sun. We'll get there eventually & leave them in our wake.

We'll see Tommy, we'll see. Just over the hill is the promised land of:

Takeover;
Transfer window;
Ross & Somma return

Watch us fly up the league & return to our rightful place in the PL!!!
