What a joke, score 4 and lose. At least they kept going till the end, I suppose. Saved a bit of the damage to th gd too.

Not the time to panic but players need to stand up and be counted. Saying we played well and still ose doesnt cut it anymore. The Bolton game was a poor performance as we were not punished enough (luckily) tonight is disgraceful we cannot continue to lose leads to teams that thus far have a poor record!

comparing home and away form is like night and day, we've battered teams at home and although i havent seen footage of many of the away matches we arent playing to our potential away from home, it would be interesting to hear the views of either charlton fans or any dedicated fans from here who made the trip.

Swamp you know full well if your strong at home your taking points off other ' play off ' teams , then if you nick a couple away games you will be up there come the end of the season.

Your definate play off this year at least pal. If anybody asks I was never here <ok>

thats true FFs, but you are where you are for a reason, and charlton are struggling. bolton away last week wasnt a bad performance, a mixture of bad luck and bad defending saw us lose an important away point, and now today 2-0 to 5-2 is unacceptable.....

its a very obvious to say but was it the negativity away from home again? like i said the way we batter teams at the CCS its like two differenet teams at the moment......

Hudson was dreadful as was the keeper they cost you big time 2 0 up n cruising then gave it away 2 2 half time and you collapsed coulda been 8 2 before the injury time double if you go up you'll be destroyed on that performance

Wasn't at the game for location reasons, but been at almost every other home match this season and we've rarely looked like scoring more than 1, possibly 2, your defence must have had a terrible day and we got our shooting boots on for once.

"slugs come out when it rains".

Good news for you then. I understand that they are an integral part of the diet in your part of the World.

Despite our (well deserved) league position, we have been regularly missing sitters which could have edged us up into the mid table comfort zone. An odd goal defeat away on a tuesday night in itself is'nt the end of the world. Obviously, being 2-0 up and conceding five is wretched (I'd have been gutted if it had happened in reverse, and you lot were top when you came down to visit), but as has been said a lot on our board, last night was one weird game, but both teams will need to move on and concentrate on defending a bit better. As another addick said, thank god the referee did'nt add on seven minutes. Good luck for the rest of the season, apart from our visit, and here's hoping you lot have restored our teams belief in themselves.

    Cheers Ken

Your guys clearly took full advantage of our defensive disarray so good luck to them. It doesn't help that our keeper who has been mostly very good this season and won us points had a mare and gave away 2 goals and our centre back and captain, visiting his old club, was as bad. Strange that, the same happened when we lost badly at Palace, agan from 2 - 0 up. <whistle>

Note to Malky - don't let Hudson play in away game to former clubs.
