    He didn't dive today, actually.

He had a very good game in fact.

Dived quite a lot actually. Especially for the hugely painful non contract which got Colo the red card <ok>

Didn't dive when Collocini clipped his leg and he didn't get the penalty though.

I assume you didn't notice that colocinni got the ball so any penalty would have been a bad decision?

Collocini kicked the back of his leg, and Taylor should be off cause he thinks he's a smart A***.

... Nope. Try again next week maybe.

Back on topic, Sess hasn't looked himself this season. Is it O'Neill? In fairness it's not just him. He's a great player when he's on song.

A simple nope doesn't suffice. You're going to have to explain how he did not dive

I watched the game, would recommend you do also. Then perhaps watch/listen to the opinions of pundits etc regarding the incident. Even if you watched MOTD you'd have seen the commentators and the pundits agree it was a penalty - soft - but a penalty. Because there was contact.

It's also nothing to do with the sentiments of this thread, but it's understandable you'd rather talk about Suarez's problems than Sunderland's.

Sess must be one of the most frustrating players to play alongside. He never looks up and tries to go through 3 or 4 players instead of a simple pass. Ihave seen many games this season especially where players (Fletcher) have been available, in good positions, and Sess ends up losing the ball by trying to take on too many players. He often creates space for himself to get the ball, then runs into a wall before he even attempts to pass.
He is undoubtedly a good (nearly said great), player but a bit too selfish for the run we are going through

There was contact but it was in no way a penalty. Owing mainly to the fact he'd already made contact with the ball. The commentators at the time could not decide but when slowed down it became clear he got the ball first. I think Charlie Adam made the important point. Had Suarez managed to lift the ball over him, penalty no hesitation. As Colo played the ball and then made contact with Suarez, no penalty.

Suarez was a nightmare today though. He took a few dives, he made a meal out of Colo's attempted studs up as an example (still a red card). Jonas took a few falls too. Players who dive will always dive.

Sessegnon doesn't have the ability of Suarez and is a completely different type of player anyway. I still think he is better when played wide. If he is going to play off Fletcher he'll need very high buzzy workrate. This isn't his game really. He doesn't seem a great fit with O'Neill but I'm sure once O''Neill gets the right personnel (mainly a ball playing midfielder), he could fill the Ashley Young type wing role O'Neill likes to use.

I didn't think it was a penalty myself, just showing the view of commentators. But he certainly didn't dive. Thought it was just a coming together myself. No issues.

He did not make a 'few' dives, either. I invite you to prove one - and I'll gladly agree with you. For goodness sake he has a good game and people still go for the easy 'oh but he dived'.

The linesman was telling the referee 'red' regardless of anything straight away, also.

Deluded... the only thing the 'silky sess' n Suarez havommon is that they r both small. Sess is not doing any worse than last season he is just playing to his level-very average. He scores 5 a season , cant run, takes forever to move the ball and to compare him to Suarez is embarrasing. Yes, Suarez is a prat but he has real class. He even made the decent Collocinni look no better than average n nowt like Bobby Moore,(laughable comparison). When did u last, or ever, see Silky Sess terrorise a defence?
