For me he has plenty of talent but last season that was outweighed by a poor attitude; I thought him greedy and selfish last season, not a team player. Let's hope he has matured vastly.
We all know he's a good player talent wise, this move will just come down to how much he's matured, decision making, how much he really wants to suceed etc. Brucie's got an eye for talent and we're in no position to be doubting his signings after his record so far. We obviously needed a left-sided player. Last year, he had a torrid time towards the end, but didn't everyone? Koren was **** in March, everyone was. Yet for some reason, some people seem to just remember that crap March we had when talking about Brady's (or Barmby's) time here. He was our best player in the first month or so of the season. I remember in ther buildup to the Leeds away game we were all telling them how he was going to rip them apart.
I don't see why everyone's talking about him maturing and having improved drastically, he last played for us about 6 months ago in which time he's had 3 months holiday and 3 months reserve football, hardly alto of time to change much. Hell be the same Brady we had last season, the question we should be asking is can Bruce get the best out of him?
I posted on here last week after the Carling Cup defeat for them that I thought we would get him back as he was only on the bench, he was obviously not going to figure after that knockout for them. I think he will make great wing-back cover.
He'll be a much better player this time around, new system, attacking football that definitely suits him and he gives us that extra edge in attack and bit of flair instead of relying on Elmo and Aluko to push us forwards. He should link up well with Quinniesta too. I for one am quite excited that have added more attacking prowess to the squad. I would have preferred King but then again, he wouldn't fit into this system like Brady will.
Last season was his first full senior one though, he'll still be learning the trade of the game. He's used to playing in a free scoring Man U youth side so he's probably used to a lot of the ball. He seemed to mature more as Last Season went on though and he should definitely be better this time 'round.
I'm willing to give him a chance. Hopefully, tomorrow he'll put ina really good shift for City. The whole "he's ****" argument pisses me off, it's far too frequent, and nobody seems to have a good word for any of our players. FFs some on here say Fryatt was ****e last season, despite him being our top goal scorer and living off scraps for most of it.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/irishsun/irishsunsport/4539813/.html Tony Cascarino thinks very highly of him. I think he will make a great wing-back and add a little bit of creativity from deep.
Totally agree, I've never known such moaning bastards as some on here and on the terraces at the KC in general. Guess it must be a Hull thing.
Mclean has gone Brady mad on Twitter, he seems very happy to see him coming back. It seems that as soon as he knew the deal was on, he called Aaron to let him know.
I for one am glad to see Brady back and certainly will not write him off until I see how he performs under Bruce. However, I will be even 'gladder' (SIC) when Hobbs is back. I know he's got to get back to match fitness etc but I think he's the missing link for city to kick on.
McLean is great, it's just the goal return that's not as great. He never seemed to be able to make the step up from League 1 to the Championship and it's a shame because he scored 30+ goals the Season before signing for us didn't he? Correct me if I'm wrong!
Everyone has to give Brady a chance FFS. Maybe Brady's "problems "were Barmby and Pearson. We now have Steve Bruce, so let us see how Brady performs with Bruce as the manager
