    I will be positive about positive things but I'm no religious nut mate if I don't like something I'm not rejoicing about it.

    Well luckily for you it's all pretty positive being a Toon fan right now! So much so, Ashley even looks positive, as ACS's article highlights!

    I agree other than the fact we are playing poorly and Ba is not going to sign and leave for another club.

    I'm sure you are aware we will NOT pay him the extra money.

    Never like articles like this. He hasn't gone from villain to hero. He's gone from villain to tolerated owner running the club the way he should have in the first place.

    Agree it should have been run like that to begin with, but with perspective I think he's learned from his mistakes pretty well, and done some very useful things for the club. I wouldn't call him a hero either, but I'd be happy to retain him as owner for the forseeable future... Not something I might have said a few years ago!

    Hhhmmm it depends how you look at it if we get a better player fine if we don't other players will think 'm never going to win anything at this club and look to leave after him.

    We will have a huge player churn based on our clubs plans and it will be nion impossible to keep getting better through the market the way we have last time.

    I'm very curious to see what occurs over the next year or so before I start getting deluded like the last time we tasted the nectar of european football.

    again it depends on how you look at it

    Our owners perfect fan is someone that pays for tickets and shirts etc but doesn't have any expectations of glory ie me

    The one great trick Ashley has done is make fans like me - I used to dream of weinning things but he's diluted my footballing soul to a pleasant concentration

    Agree with this <ok>

    But as I have said before, wherever there is Ashley (Llambias?) there is another own goal waiting to happen.

    As sure as the sun rises and sets, Ashley will do something that makes us think he finally gets it and understands football/cares about the Club/understands what owning a football club means and then he will do something utterly stupid (rename stadium, sack popular manager, Wonga*) to annoy everyone and once again we will realise that actually he doesn't understand or, more likely, care at all.

    * I accept that some of these things are now either null and void, or actually worked out OK... But that's beside the point :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Only thing that's really pissed me off is stickling over a million or two for Debuchy, we'll struggle to move forward if we take that attitude into every single transfer deal.

    And in the process missed out on a quality player that could have taken us to the next level <ok>

    LFC fans in peace.

    That first post was fantastic. I really enjoyed reading it but the follow up post seemed a bit rushed - I'd have loved to have read in more depth your views on the sacking of Chris Hughton, your thoughts when Pardew was announced and how those feelings evolved as his reign moved forwards.

    either way this was a great post and if I had the time i'd summerise my club in a similar way on my forum. rep will be given.

    This, all day long.

    <cool>

    ..and let's not forget that the only reason SJP officially has it's proper name back, is because those Loan Sharks 'Wonga' paid Ashley to get rid of 'Sports Direct Arena'

    <grr>
