Gat, he was on the books with us before he went to sid james park!! i watched today and it was not good... yes the ref made a mistake with the sending off, but rules are rules,, so early on he should have just had a wordd. But to be honest i don't think it would have been much better with 11... yes plym 2 shots is about it.. Young was awful when he came on.. passing and his corners were shocking... Concentrate on the league now
It was certainly embarrassing that's for sure. The Ref did'nt make a mistake albeit the decision spoilt the game from there on in. Hourihan is a complete liability and one I have singled out several times already for criticism. He always looks like he is on borrowed time and he should have had a straight Red for the first diabolical stamp. He meant that and it was horrible to see. Fletcher was clueless once more. Madjo, our best striker sat on the bench for the whole match and Feeney brought on when we were chasing the game. Griffiths (fireman) was a flash in the pan on his first 20 minutes or so it seems. He doesn't have a good touch and he should have been in his element today. The last 15 minutes was a pain to endure. Embarrassing is putting it very mildly.
I cringed throughout the whole of the match and couldn't believe what I was seeing .... I'm not sure if it was on this site or another that someone stated we made a pub team look good. We could have won that match even with 10 men if Fletcher had changed his tactics when it was obvious that things wernt working, but no we played in the same formation and way throughout the entire match. Any player who may be considering coming to us after watching that shambolic performance will have unpacked his bag by now. Suppose when you think about it thats the same carp we get dished out week in, week out with only a rare glimpse of something promising .... oh well of to get ready for work where I will have my leg pulled about supporting Plymouth !
