Hey people, I've been MIA for a bit so thought I'd start a little thread to get chatting! So who do people have on their Newcastle shirt and why? I've had Santon on my shirt since he arrived, always new he would turn out awesome. Promising.
I've got no one, they always leave within 3 months of me getting one. My history so far: Robert 32 - got it for Christmas, he went in Jan Shearer 9 - Got it Christmas, he retired later that year Given 1 - got it for birthday in Oct, he left in Jan Hughton (not really a team shirt, a polo with his name on the back) - got it for birthday in Oct, we all know what happened there... I debated getting Perch for a while, now I really don't want him. Xisco maybe?
I have HBA on last seasons orange shirt because he is a genius. Was thinking of getting REP.... 4 and ME
I've got Lee Shearer Emre Carroll Ameobi I got Carroll 3 weeks before he left. I don't wear that shirt very often
I've got a mate who has banned himself from getting names on the back because they always leave straight after... Superstitious nonsense of course... Anyway, I have a shirt from a couple of years ago with Shola on the back and is the source of all his powers I bought the luminous top with Ba on the back before the Brugge match, so we've had two lucky wins since then (Pardew still hasn't called me up to thank me... Probably still under the major misapprehension and irrational theory that the players or his tactics have had anything to do with it )... I have one with Shearer on the back, but I won't talk about that. I wore that one when we got relegated... Evil fabric! Let DT use it as pjs.
If I was a Geordie I'd have colocini on my shirt and I'd wear a blond Afro wig.. I do actually have a blonde Afro wig too..
