Spurs losing, Everton dropping two points and us being able to point points between us and Liverpool.

I really hope we go for it. We could be in the top 6 if we win tomorrow, and if we go on a decent run, we can really push up the table.

No Liverpool will roast us as usual the place
but the next 4 games after will define season.
    Maybe 3-0 as usual

Based on what? History? We have a better team than liverpool at the moment IMO, granted we havent played as well as we can this season but to go there and lose 3-0 is unrealistic if u ask me

Based on the fact we have not won at Liverpool for 17 years and usual concede on average 3 goals

Our record at Anfield is just awful. We never turn up and give it a go, seems to be one of those grounds where we turn up and we're beaten before we step foot on the pitch. We need to play a hell of a lot better tomorrow than we have done so far this season to stand any chance of getting anything.

At this point I would gladly take a draw.

I don't think history should matter. Carroll and Bellamy were the two players that clinched it for Liverpool last season, and they are gone now. Liverpool are struggling to score goals. We can defend with our best defenders available, and Liverpool haven't scored more than one at home so far this season. Even when they beat Reading, they only scored one goal.

We've shown that we can score goals even when we play poorly, so I think we have a great chance tomorrow.

Last year in this fixture though Suarez was missing hence why Bellamy was playing. We will no doubt be doing a lot of ball watching tomorrow as we stand and watch Liverpool pass the ball to death. Hopefully we can restrict them to certain areas of the pitch.

If we're gonna worry so much about Suarez, then we should just accept defeat and go home. He's only one player. We're a better side than Liverpool, and we've played against tougher teams. Unless Suarez has a blinder tomorrow, I don't think we need to worry.

Sterling is probably a worry, but I have full faith in Santon to deal with him.

Yer except Sterling plays left side for Liverpool so will be up against Simpson. I'm not conceding defeat just acknowledging Suarez has the ability to turn our defence (particularly Williamson) inside out. We have a chance tomorrow but we need to actually turn up at this ground for once.

dunno like Liverpool had a really tough start this season and on the evidence of performances this season they look better to me..

I expect to lose this match through history, however I'm always hopeful but that is all.

we have no Tiote and we need him for away games as Liverpool will have all the ball.

Perch is ok but I'm never going to think he's a world beater and if Williamson starts we will lose 3 nil

I know mate. But we've always seemed to draw attention too much to the opponents strengths and **** ourselves over them. Pardew and the lads will have been training all week, and discussing tactics.

I would take a draw right now, but I think we really can win.

Hope your right, I'm fed up of the perennial Anfield embarrassment!

We had a **** record at stamford bridge and we ended that hoodoo last season, we also had not won at arsenal in eight years until we did in 2010. My point is, these records will eventually be broken, so why not tomorrow at anfield?

As per usual, the only thing in Liverpool's favour is history. If Newcastle can get the damned monkey off their back then we could be in for a good game. That said I think we'll draw 1-1

Since we lost 3-1 there last season, we've added to our group with talent, they're in transition and have lost talent, Suarez has gained such a reputation Willo could squeeze grope his breasts all game and not give away a penalty, and whisper it quietly but Gerrard's legs look like they're going...

On that front, I'd say the game should be closer (and let's be honest, they dominated that game). Liverpool's chances depend entirely on Suarez keeping those cross-eyes focused long enough to keep his shots on target, our chances probably depend on him being distracted by a squirrel and trying to mate with it (or else simply not scoring). Unless we actually decide to play well that is, in which case we have a chance of picking point/s up on our own merit. First 20mins vs Sunderland played for an entire game would be a decent start.
