Really high pressing, so far. Bit risky.

Fulham take the lead against Everton. Bryan Ruiz free-kick.

Excellent save there by Al-Habsi from Vertonghen's right-footed volley.

Sandro's injured? Didn't see that. Gylfi on, interesting.

Oh, for ****'s sake. <doh> Sandro goes off with a mystery injury and is replaced by Sigurdsson.

Really poor defending, but Friedel saves well. Wake up!

Very lucky Kone didn't score there. Poor finish and we're looking poor going forward.

What the hell was Walker doing there? Everyone else pushed up, he didn't and Friedel's forced into another save.
    Not playing well at all.

That's a very poor tackle from Figueroa. Comes straight through the back of Defoe. No card?

Finally a few good balls in. It's very late in the half though.

What an awful first half. Really lacking in virtually every department.
Defoe's barely touched the ball, we've not moved it around with enough pace and we look susceptible at the back, too.

This really is shocking stuff, get Ade on for Dempsey at HT. I haven't got a clue why he chose to put Sigurdsson on instead of both Carroll and Falque, he's been terrible since he came on.

Took us 46 minutes to look like we want to win this. The least we could do if we're not going to create anything is not gift them chances, definitely the worst half of football we've played so far.

    Best player has been Friedel.

We are missing Sandro.. The midfield seems shapeless to me.

I think that the Sigurdsson sub disrupted things quite badly, for some reason.
We weren't amazing before that, by any means, but we were dominating possession moving the ball around ok and looking for openings against a well set-out side.
Our shape went to pot when the Icelander came on and a number of players seemed to have no idea where they were supposed to be or what they were supposed to be doing.
Huddlestone's game dropped, Sigurdsson himself looked too eager to please and a bit headless and Dempsey went out of it.

We need to get our shape back, get on the ball again and work it around for the first 5 minutes. Just pin them back and get them into a negative mindset.
Adebayor can be introduced a little later on, but the players need to take half-time and get their heads around the job at hand. Stop pissing about and focus.

A position of 4th is a bit flattering to us really and all the Spurs fans know it. I've seen little so far this season to really feel optimistic about. A performance like this is not that much of a surprise.

Hope to God we see Adebayor. Hopefully immediately after the break. We just lack a bit of quality this season and he provides that.
