I know that he has been talked about a lot, but I would still like to see us going for Neil Danns

Tadier looks interesting, like the idea of getting spence in permantley, also think danny rose should be given another go, biggest concern for me is an attacking midfielder not a lot out there in our price range. When i say not a lot out there i mean not a lot that would improve us. With Cisse playing the holding role albert and jcr on the wings to me its a choice of elliot or clarky behind the front 2, personally especially at home i would pick clarky, for his ability to a) pick a pass b) add some goals and yes shiny i know marv has had his best goal scoring season for us. Away Marv would get the nod to break up the play a bit more! Roll on the new season i think we have the makings of a team that could challenge, Albert is coming on leaps and bounds JCR seems to have a new lease of life nicky brett and J/S are as good as any strike force in this division, back four with spence added and maybe one more caulker again please harry? im looking forward to next season already!

Look into signing Danns, Bradley Johnson (leeds), Hyam? (Ipswich), Spence and Billy Jones. All on free transfers as their contracts are expiring at the end of the season. Hyam is a young midfielder that the Ipswich fans are saying they rate highly but would only keep if Bullard goes, don't know anything about him other than that but worth looking in to? In my opinion Danns would add so so much to our midfield that it's definately worth paying him what he wants to get him here. Spence at CB, Jones at RB.

If we are going to actually pay fees for players then George Boyd from posh would solve our creative midfield/left wing problems. Also McAuley from Ipswich looked absolutely solid at CB for them at the weekend, try and sign him as a replacement for Caulker. IF palace go down then try and get Ambrose possibly.. Also if PNE go down Treacy would be a good punt as would Hume.

    I'd Like to see:-

    James
    Jones Spence McAuley Fontaine

    Cisse
    Skuse Danns

    Adomah Boyd
    Pitman

(Assuming Maynard is sold, otherwise he starts as CF) If we don't sign Danns then would play Clarkson as AM, Cisse and Skuse best CM partnership we currently have IMO.

Also, thought Rose should be given a chance at CM. Looked to have all the attributes to succeed there; good passing, could tackle, quick feet. Just didn't have the pace to be an out and out winger. Would play him as our AM if we could get him, left midfield is nowhere near his most effective position from what I saw of him.

    wiz, i prefer this :emoticon-0172-mooni

back to the thread, i think you guys should go for some experienced prem players. players who dont fit into their parents club 25 man squad like cardiff did with bellamy and ramsey.

Ramsey I would like, but Fabergas will probably decide to leave this summer if they don't win the league so I can see Ramsey starting with Wiltshire for Arsenal.
The problem with some experienced prem players can be a bit of problem ie Nicky Hunt, could of been good but then did not really have the desire to play for us! Bellemy was a Cardiff born player who wanted to join them, there is not a lot of Bristol born who has the passion to play for us!
But in fairness Millen has done well in getting players in for us plus turning the ones who we would of shipped out back in October, Cisse has been fantastic for us in the last few months and now Stewart is starting to look a suitable back up defender when the rest are fit.
