I guess giving Mohsni a crack at CB coudn't be any worse than the other options. Can't wait to see what MM comes up with, hope it's not more of the same results wise.
He can't be expected to make wholesale changes for the game tomorrow but I reckon come next Saturday he will have weighed up his players and will begin to sort things out. The next 2 games will be a valuable learning curve for him every bit as much as for the players.
I think he was the best appointment for you.Out of everyone on offer MM is without doubt the best man for the job and he will get you out of the ****.So yes,I am a little disappointed. Still going to be a long season for you though, but it is looking begrudgingly brighter.
Totally agree with no need for personal insults aimed at Jewell/ the players or anyone but surely a banner saying Jewell out is equally as bad as 6000 fans in the north stand singing your getting sacked in the morning. If that is the case then I think a few on this forum were taking part in the chanting or would have been if they were at the match. I think everybody realises that managers dont go out there to fail but some are unsuitable for the job they have. We praise them when the succeed so I cant see an argument for not letting them know when they fail, as long as its not personal, vindictive or physical. If your genuine then welcome to the forum and sorry if we started of in the wrong way but I find it wrong that Hoppers is singled out for a widely held view.
tractor bhoy....I have half an idea who this is.....I will be taking it up with him tomorrow morning....I very much appreciate your comments...
Sorry, am I missing something? You have appointed two scouts you hadn't heard of before today, but your coaching staff is now highly rated.
I like this formation as I think it would bring the best out in Cresswell and Edwards and also has a good balance, it was favoured by Burley if I remember correctly. But we don't have many CB options and also playing this formation for me means we won't use some of our most talented/flair players like JET, Martin, Taylor and Carson!!
Apparently he is jogging at the moment, and is going to see a specialist next week to assess him http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/21733/striker-taylor-jogging-as-he-continues-recovery
Hopperble10 : quite happy to meet over a drink anytime if u live nr bury st Edmunds but will be at C Palace today with in laws watching Blackburn ( their treat). However accept I should not have singled you out so a pint to make up for it whenever so apologies all round there
I have mentioned before that with our current crop of players, 5-3-2 would be my preferred formation. However, my choice to partner DJ would be Ellington (I would at least give him a chance). It would also be possible to leave out Reo-Coker, play Hyam & N'Daw as hold CMs & then that frees up a place for JET or Martin to play in a free role behind a front 2
