But it can also be argued that in the first half, the value of the team that Liverpool put out was still greater than the value of Swansea modest £20 Million. Clearly Liverpool are no longer the force they once where in the great game, and it's that issue and fact that will dictate Rodgers outcome, and whether he'll get the time he needs, to effect and implement his change, but the most important issue is this, what is his style? because Swansea style was in place long before Rodgers arrived on the scene, and that has to be the most concerning issue to any Liverpool supporter. Simply put how can Rodgers get Liverpool playing the great game like Swansea, when he was simply not the author of it, in the first place! If I was a Liverpool supporter with their history, I would be very much concerned with the appointment of Rodgers!...................
There was a scouse pundit on talksport this morning (didn't catch who it was as I missed the start) who was disgusted with Rogers apparent comments after the game that it's going to take Liverpool another 2 or 3 transfer windows to get up to the level of Swansea's footballing abilities. He was seething that their manager's ambition seems to be to emulate little old Swansea city
