Alright chaps as the title says who did you rate more?

Magic was oustanding with Gray down the left but people seem to forget it wasn't in the top flight

or Arca who was my favourite player for a very long time at the club, a young lad who came from the other side of the world who hit the ground running from day one, its a shame that our south american's since then have not been as successful as Hoolio! Hoolio!

    Joooooolio all day mate.

Loved the lad, still do, lovely touch, graceful on the move, loyal, got goals, made goals, versatile.

Legend, in my top 5 ever!

Hoolio by a miles, meet him at an Italian restaurant one time. It was my mams 60th and him and thome came over and had photo taken with her and the safe cake. Really nice gesture and they weren't even asked, made my mams life never mind her birthday!

I think for a lot of us Julio was the first 'proper' top player we seen.

Signed with a reputation, dropped in at the top level, low centre of gravity, he was ****ing class.

Anyone see a wee bit of Julio in Danny Rose at times? I do.

I would prefer Julio over Magic.

One of my favourite (all time) Sunderland players

Julio for me too, but that team under Reidy was a cracker. Best I've ever seen in my time watching Sunderland, so I have time for both of them. Things went a bit sour at the end with Magic, but with him and Summerbee on the wings and Superkev and Big Niall in the middle goals were easy peasy, unlike today :(

Tough one to call but ill go with Julio aswell. Johnson was class aswell though, I can't believe how much his career went down the pan after he left us!
Coincidentally both players ended up at Boro!

This with massive brass bells on it. Julio is a true Sunderland legend in the Bally, Benno, SKP, Quinny mould for me.
