Courtesy of Burnsy, just a rumour for now, but expected to be confirmed this afternoon.

    It's football for him.

Obviously not in Brucey's plans. Thought he did well at the back end of last season.

He's 21 and going out to a League Two club. Maybe it's time we accepted he's never going to be good enough.

He didn't look out of place in the Premier League or the Championship, the only reason he's not involved for us is because Stevie replaced him with his son.

The loan has now been confirmed.

Devitt is also going out on loan to Rotherham.

If that was true teams would have been clamouring for his signature. He only played once in the prem didnt he?

It was a one loan in Portsmouth, I can see why it didn't appeal all that much, three or four games at best and month living out of a suitcase, all when you know you've been replaced by the gaffers son and will almost certainly be released at the end of the season. He was obviously willing to take a loan if it was nearer or was long enough for him to mark an impact.

    Who has done brilliantly.

I think Coops is the only player we have seen publicly slated by Bruce so it's fair to say he wont figure again. Bit of a shame but hey-ho.

Totally agree BCC, apart from Chester who's out on his own, AB has played as well as anyone.

Fat boy Evans on the signing of Devitt...

It's only a one month loan.

Edit - It turns out Cooper's loan is only a month too.

Chester and AB have done brilliantly but dont we play 3 at the back? Macca has been average at best and i could see why cooper thought he could have that spot. Hopefully this loan spell is going to sharpen him up further and maybe show SB what an asset he can be

I don't expect to ever see him in a City shirt again.

Totally agree. He was doomed the minute Bruce slammed him for not going out on loan.

No. He was doomed when Alex did'nt have a club interested in him so his dad sorted him out with 6 grand a week for 2 years. Good luck Coops, hope their fans think more about you than your home town fans. What a bunch of complete ****s you lot are.

Bruce slated McKenna, but somehow he still got in the team for a few weeks.

That'd be a valid point if Bruce hadn't been playing brilliantly.

Anyway, who has been slagging off Coops? I don't think anyone said anything negative about him and certainly nothing to warrant '****s'.
