Hope Man U don't send us those centre-backs after watching the game last night. Noticed Brady was on the bench, maybe he could make a return if can't even make Carling Cup team?
Mistakes will happen in football, you can't avoid them and they'll keep them in good stead. If Fergy thinks they're good enough to play, they can't be that bad. I can't see it being them, but you never know.
Just saw the Tunnicliffe thread, looks like people disagreeing about the Man U kids. I thought they cracked at the end but guess they won't meet the likes of Hazard and Sturridge in our league
has Brady played a little at left back recently? if so he might come back to replace dudgy and play wingback. just a thought like
Yeah you're being quite harsh on them. They were matching them for 3/4s of the match and, as you say up against Champions League class players, before two mistakes cost them. Naivity? Maybe.
My guess would be Jack Robinson at Liverpool a young LB who can defiantly play the LWB role I can't think of anyone at Spurs apart from maybe Jack Livermore for the holding role in midfield, I'd like to see Yago Falque but i think he's too similar to Koren/Quinn And at Man U hopefully Buttner but probably on too much and too close to a first team spot, so maybe Nick Powell or Ryan Tunnicliffe
Bruce has confirmed that left back is the priority, though I suspect it didn't really need confirming.
Jesus Christ, please no. Him and Aluko in the team would be a nightmare.... both of them seem to have lrearned how to play by reading Roy of the Rovers. Edit - to be fair, Aluko was much, much better at not trying to do everything himself at Brizzle. Im guessing someone had a word.
I really dont want a few untried kids. Look at the difference a few years makes, Aluko 23, Quinn 26. They've done their apprenticeship. We keep getting kids of 19 with no experience and it shows. Brady was a pain in the arse and King was dreadful for ages before having a few good games. Especially if its defenders we are after you need experience to win this league.
Robinson was the one I first thought of when I saw Liverpool mentioned. He'll be at best third in line at left back there at the moment so could be possible.
If Elmo can play on the left, then it might be this lad. http://www.manutd.com/en/Players-And-Staff/Reserves/Marnick-Vermijl.aspx He can play RB, RWB and RM. He's been on the bench for a few of Man U's games this season and is highly rated at OT. At Spurs, I really rate the young lad Soli Coulibaly. He has been labelled the 'new Didier Drogba' and with Fryatt out, would give us perfect cover. SB likes his pacey strikers and he would be ideal for counter attacking football. Only problem is, he's 17 and the Championship might come too soon for him. However, he is a big star for the future, make no mistake.
I see that Silvestre has been training with Man Utd recently to keep his fitness up. I also see that Ballack can't afford to pay a speeding fine now that he's unemployed.
Sure its Tyler Blackett whos been playing Left back alot for man u reserves just thought id pull a name out the hat there Larnell Cole, Jesse Lingard, Ryan Tunnicliffe would all be decent loan signings. But depends what we need most
Do you spend your life just sitting all day and watching reserve/non league football? You seem to know an awful lot about players no ones ever heard of. Or have you scouted the entire football manager database
theres another young good left wing back who wasnt even on the bench for Man Utd last night but i cant remember his name
