http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/season-tickets-13-14-456275.aspx?pageView=full Good news for those fortunate to have a ticket, I suppose the club have taken the view that if we stay up then any increased costs will be more than covered by the increased pot given by the league.Any new players bought in January will have to be costed from some where though so unless we sell a player for big money then we may show a loss
£45 for the visit of liverpool in a couple of weeks......unbelievable and i feel sorry for those who cant get or afford a ST.....Silly money for 90 minutes of football in a city like Swansea.....
In a City like Swansea? Take your "little village" hat off. Not everyone is as negative about our Club or City as you - thankfully.
so you are happy with £45 to watch the swans play liverpool....are you mad...how many people do you know who can afford that sort of money to watch a game of football....and thats not taking into account if you have a partner or kids, travel and a pint or three ......It is far to much for people of swansea who's average wages is lower than England.....I think it warrants a mention for those fans who are being denied the chance of supporting the team that they once did because the club is being far to greedy.......shameful business and taking fans for a ride...
PGF ignore him, he doesn't grace the Liberty with his presence anyway, but a bit of a freudian slip there, with, fans being denied the chance to support the team they once did , as I suspected, nobodysmate you don't support the SWANS then, liverpuddle and brenda more to your taste huh?
"In a city like Swansea"? Do you mean a Premier League city? Do you mean the city I was born in? Do you mean the city and club we all love? Do you mean the pride of Wales? Not for the first time Dai you leave me dumbfounded.
Methinks three and six should be grade A matches, 2s 6d for grade B and a bob to watch Wigan. Programmes 1d and a pint of Trophy 6d. When I were lad we used to walk 20 mile to match - and we were lucky. My cousin used to walk 30 mile and he had no shoes. But by 'eck we were happy. We'd ne'r heard of prawns.
Guys he's just overstepped the mark in my opinion on another thread and I feel sure he will be banned soon.
"In a city like Swansea"? Do you mean a Premier League city?yes Do you mean the city I was born in?yes Do you mean the city and club we all love?mmmmm in a way Do you mean the pride of Wales?really? and dai is right boys.....for an hour and half its a lotta of cash 2 throw down the drain.......and i`d say the same down with us.....i dread the day when im priced out of watching the team ive followed through all the bad years when people turned away in droves from our 2 teams and left them with no futures..............aye its all good going now lads but i bet if u go back 2 the lower divisions one day u wont be there even if its a fiver entry
Dai, I pay full price for tickets, it costs me £40 in fuel, I have a meal out and a point or two and you know what, I'm happy to spend the money. It's not a necessity to go and watch it live, it's a luxury. If you can't afford it, you don't go. If i can't afford to get the Ferrari i want, i don't buy it. Simple.
to play devils advocate surely its the right of the club to squeeze every penny they can out of the 5000 or so glory supporters who have suddenly decided to start going since you got promoted? only fans you've got to feel sorry for here are away fans and those like chico who live too far away to have a season ticket so therefore are at the mercy of these prices.... but overall £45 in swansea given the economic times is too much......as is the prices at the turnstiles at the CCS...
ash...........so what ur saying is let the poor support clubs through the bad times and has soon has we get success lets price them out and cash in off plastics instead>>>>>>......this is why footballs fkd and lacking atmosphere>>>>>>>>>its the same people who have wrecked my glastonbury festival>>>>>>hooray henry ****s
Are you an idiot or does it come natural to you. I have been s ST holder for years and yes I canafford it. I have property all around Swansea and neath that allow me to follow the swans never mind the cost....Im speaking up for the fans as rubber says who are being priced out......£45 is a hell of a lot of money for quite a lot of supporters so sunshine grow up and stop being clever and the rest of you numpties who jump on the band wagon but never go to the liberty. you know who you are...all talk but never go. the maximum price should be £25 and even then its far to much for a lot of fans....come back to the real world and get the prices back to affordability or i can see only fans like me going...Its happening now anyway.
Pal you can't even phrase a question in English , your opening line is that a question or statement ? Do you want some lessons? As a person of substantial resources such as you, cost should not be prohibitive, but would in my view be of significant benefit, for it must be hard to talk down to somebody with the obvious developmental deficiency in communication skills you are exhibiting! Now 'sunshine' want to discuss the issue some more ? please log in to view this image
Thats the way footballs going these days, but theres not much we can do about it. Our stocks on the rise, we are gaining supporters far and wide and theres only so much space at the moment at the Liberty. Me and my wife had season tickets for 6 years before this season because we had a bit of spare cash, but had to give them up as we had our baby daughter last year. Its all about priorities. Some people can afford it, and good luck to them, were as some people would give up everything to get a ticket for the Swans. I feel that it doesnt matter where you support them, as long as you support the mighty Swans!!!
