i still find it absolutely riduculous that the refs are all wearing mics yet nothing is recorded. i mean the FA must have anticipated that something like this would happen where they would require the audio recording.
He is alleged to have called Torres a "Spanish T**t".How exactly is that racist? The Spanish are not a race, just a nationality. My suspicion is that this affair has more to do with Chelsea losing their unbeaten record.
No he's alleged to have used racist language towards Mikel and alleged to have called Mata a "Spanish T*t", which, although not racist, is xenophobic.
Chelsea have a history of lying about racist comments and lying about what match officials have said. Don't see this case going far before it gets thrown out.
United in Red That's as maybe (player's have lied before) but.... In my first post I did say (given the recent history re Terry, the FA etc) I don't think a Chelsea player would lie knowing that(if the FA find them guilty of doing that) The concequesies for the player's and Chelsea would be catastophic. As said above It's all alleged this/that so we'll see what happens. Probably nothing at all. As someone has said, why not use that mike so that as in American footie, Rugby League. We can all hear what is said... as per usual. It's too easy, just like goal line tech.. we have it USE it. It would stop any player having a rant at the ref and visa versa.
Oh, do we now? Maybe you'd like show some evidence of that. And while you're at it, maybe think about why you're so keen to disbelieve it.
2006 Terry and co accused Poll of abusing them. Dont worry, I am off to find the article written by Poll just a week before the Chelsea United game about it.
Firstly, Poll is not a reliable source when it comes to anything Chelsea related. He doesn't like us, we don't like him. It's an understanding we have. Secondly, the only source is Poll himself and it was the first anyone else had heard about it even though he claimed a statement had been made on Chelsea website. You'll need show me something not written by Poll to prove it ever happened.
No, we don't have to expect any punishment merely for it not being proven (which the FA don't have to prove anyway). Just like when our groundsmen was accused of using racist abuse towards Patrice Evra (which could have cost him his job) and wasn't charged, the FA didn't then punish the Manchester United staff who made the claim.
Graham Poll was an awful referee who tarnished his own career with the blunders he made. Then Jose had the balls to call him out on it straight to his face and he cried his way into retirement. Now he hides behind the papers criticising others for the Daily Fail whilst in constant contradiction of himself.
So you think that's acceptable language for a referee to use towards a player, calling him a "Spanish twat"? Is it also fine to call someone a "Paki twat" or a "Jap twat"? They're also nationalities. Also, we're nine games in hardly something to shout about. Why didn't we make something like this up about the ref after the Barcelona game?
I just wonder if the morons at the FA will use the " probability " card with Clattercnut ?? My bet is they will take his word against 2 players words, and find him innocent. Logic, common sense and any kind of fairness is just not going to happen with the FA . Either way, Clattertwat is finished as a credible referee. I just hope I am around when he gets the next Chelsea game.
Funny, United and every other club feels like they tend to get nothing at the bridge. United got a rare break tbh. It could be centuries before another team get a few calls at the bridge
