What do you expect?

Not played well in the league all season and 3-0 seems to be our routine loss at anfield.

 

Every season i look at Liverpool away and think "we'll get something there this time" and then i'm usually proved wrong! I will be in my local surrounded by Scousers on Sunday so fingers crossed.

 

2-0 to Liverpool.

 

I've got a feeling there's definitely going to be goals in this one like... can see it going either way but would be happy for it to end in a score draw. Will be sticking cash down on a 2-2 and seeing how my last 2-1 Ba to score first last weekend brought me in £600 I'm feeling lucky

After last seasons 3-1 loss were we took the lead hopefully we will get a better result against Liverpool this time round. We will have to play one hell of a lot better than yesterday though as we were abysmal and lucky to get the 3 points. I have to say 2nd half I couldn't see us scoring yesterday, and even though it was a lucky goal by Cisse hopefully that will have lifted the lads confidence.

Liverpool aren't the team of old and theres no reason why we cannot get a gd result that said they have turned the corner a little of late and they've started to get a few gd results, im gonna be positive and say a 2-1 win with Ben Arfa and Cisse on target.

You sound more and more like MrT every day. I wonder what on earth happened to him, he seems to have been away on a longer holiday than I thought. I guess CyprusSyd got really fed up with all the complaints he got about him.

**** it Im going go for a 1-2 win. We havent won there in the league since 1994 so its about time that embarrasing stat changed. Also fingers crossed suarez gets booked tomorrow night as he would then be missing for sunday. It would certainly make our CB's life alot easier considering their rather limited striking options.

Almost gave me Dad a severe case of whiplash from the violent shaking of his head that followed the goal and the sudden realisation that I'd won my bet... poor old man, bet he wished he'd never have told me I'd won after.

I'm about as optimistic about this fixture as an Otter who's realised his coat has sprung several rather nasty leaks, just as he's being forced to swim for it because his New York river-adjacent apartment has a few too many pools now.

Liverpool are seemingly low on confidence, haven't hit the dizzy heights of yesteryear for a while, they've got nobody who can find the net with any great consistency, can't defend to save themselves, and they are still adapting to a new manager's playing style... Yet we'll still somehow lose... Suarez will have his almost perennial goal-fest or great game, before returning to the player I could only safely describe as schizophrenic.

To me, keeping Liverpool to a draw would be a good result.
