Just seen the Steve Bruce interview on Tigers Player and he said that Elmohamdy was touch-n-go for last Saturday following a strain he got on Friday. You could see he was labouring towrads the end at Bristol. I know its only Tuesday and rest can be a great healer but a strain doesnt sound straight-forward. Any news about Saturday. Maybe half a game from the bench and a severe change in formation?
Hopefully they've had him in cotton wool all week and he'll be alright, they usually have a team news article on the OWS on Thursday, so we should find out then.
With Dudge out as well and with us seemingly playing our best attacking football in the 3-5-2 we should definitely be looking to sign someone who can play as a wb on loan.
Maybe we can try this guy on the right if Elmo can't go. Looks like he can get a cross in for sure. http://www.hullcityafc.net/news/article/chris-winn-455798.aspx
I think it's just a lack of available players. The thing I don't understand though is that in August when deadline day is approaching we always make out like there's no rush because there's the loan window and we can always get someone in on loan later, but then when it comes to the loan window there's no one decent to loan. So why the **** don't we make it a priority to sign people in the summer when they're available?!
Sincerely hope he is fit, the lad has been a breath of fresh air since arriving and has coincided with our best football, a definite match winner with the deliveries into the box he is providing... get the rubbing oils out Stevie, we need this lad fit and well !!!!
With Wolverhampton coming up on tuesday I can see Steve Bruce resting Elmohamady on saturday if he is not 100% but if Man Utd go out @ Chelsea tonight what price a Josh King being here by the weekend ? TWT.
I said at the start of the season we didnt, especially with our reluctance to use our kids, but was told by several people we had enough cover.
He is lucky to get a start at the moment. M.U. team sheet for tonight is due in soon so we shall see who SAF goes with.
Keane is in the starting line-up, but no other player who's played or been linked with us are in. Just waiting for the subs bench.
Yes correct. Man Utd make 10 changes from sundays team. Fletcher - Nani - Giggs - Hernandez as examples start. Yes the bench could well be packed with kids.
