At least your not throwing the conspiracy **** around. Were we lucky of course we were. Will i accept the result of course i will. Shared points would have been fair but now we have the monkey off our back as in "the bridge" we may now get some better results.
I thought some United fans are fickle but you have taken the biscuit with that comment so you dont know of ANY PLAYER THAT GETS AWAY WITH SO MANY RED CARD DECISIONS Well I guess because he stayed on your bench today you forgot about him PAUL SCHOLES Some United fans have a little sense, but the brigade of Scholes, Neville and now Rooney are getting away with murder on the pitch, and it looks like Jonny Evans is joining that crew, getting away with the Liverpool challenge on Shelvey which was a 50 50 and the one today, just look at his reaction both times You my non-friend are a complete plonker!!!
**** face, can I call you ****? Regardless, it was a joke. Look it up and then disappear like a good boy Seriously, people who take everything serious on the internet should have their internet disconnected. Its not safe for them on here.
Only in FA Cup semi finals when their name is Paul Scholes. Oh, I forgot, he gets away with everything apparently...
Brilliant first half. United for the most part were the better side. First 30 we kept creating chances. Last 10 was all Chelsea and shame Rooney had to make that silly tackle. Torres should of been sent off, the Fox link I downloaded didnt even mention it. It was a horrid tackle. Second half coming up
I thought it was an even game, Torres was lucky to still be on the pitch to get sent off. Thought De Gea had a good game..
**** happens eh, least we weren't piss poor. Onwards and upwards, we should be alright if we keep putting in shifts like that.
Definite red for Ivanovic. Great turn and pass by van Persie to set him through. Picking him as one to watch was a good call this week.
Justice done then really. It shouldnt work like that but unfortunately does. If the ref makes a mistake he shouldn't then try to 'even up'. What about the first sending off? Ivanovich? The guy is immune to red cards and I doubt he will get a ban or the one he does will be served in the reserves. Never has a player who should of been sent off so many times got away with it. Er...Vidic? Scholes?Rooney?
Couldn't really agree you were robbed. Ivanovic was a clear sending off, and Torres should have gone for the stud lunge. Not sure what Rooney and Valencia incidents you are talking about, but you say they could have been sent off, whilst Ivanovic and Torres should have been sent off. I agree the ref (and particularly linesman) let you down badly for our last goal, but you have to point the finger at Ivanovic and Torres for letting you down so badly, after you'd done so well to get right back into the game and give yourselves a good chance of winning. Hmmm, Scholes you say....let's play a game. Which is the odd one out of these tackles (top left is Maxi on Rafael in March 2011): please log in to view this image
Agree re Ivanovic and think Torres should have made more of an effort to stay on his feet but... How often does a player actually get a second yellow for diving? How often in such a big game? and how often when the ref had already sent off a player. In the interest of trying to maintain a good game for the millions watching, the decision was at worst incompetant and at best bizarre. That sort of decision just doesn't happen 999 times out of a 1000. Fergie would be livid if it was say Rooney and you'd lost. But at the end of the day, our luck will change against you at some point...maybe wednesday.
Agree on Torres, and can only assume that Clattenburg went for his pocket before realising Torres had already been booked. Personally I think the whole thing is symptomatic of the media and fan pressure on referees to 'stamp out' diving by booking divers. It seems refs almost feel obliged to book a few players for diving whenever they are not sure, just to make it look like they are being tough. The pundits definitely don't help - every time a player goes down and the ref doesn't give a free kick they ask why the player wasn't booked. That said, Torres was very lucky to still be on the pitch at that point. He should have gone before half time when you were 2-1 down for that assault on Cleverley. Pretty much a carbon copy of De Jong on Alonso in the WC final. So again, before looking at the ref Chelsea fans need to look at their own players imo.
For a minute I though that was Evans on Drogba when Evans got sent off at S.B a couple of years back. Oh wait...didn't Drogba get booked for diving and Evans got nothing? Agree Torres defo could have gone for that but those type of incidents always look worse when you take a still picture . You won't end a career with a 'tackle' like that and it looks worse than it is in reality. Agreed also that Clattenberk probably forgot he'd already booked Torres, kind of looked that way. As I say, if the shoe was on the other foot, i'd happily take the decisions, just a shame that another important big game of football is being talked about for the wrong reasons.
