Mark Clattenburg reported by Chelsea FC for alleged abuse of 2 players

Nobody gives a **** about decisions that go against United because for every decision that goes against you, 10 go for you and partly because we all know that the ref in question won't referee another one of your games for a minimum of a year.

 

I really don't want to talk about Terry. Thats over and done with now but you have rather helpfully proved my point. You can't tell anything definitively from that, as professional lip-readers have confirmed in court, but people accept it as proof.

The point is, even without that youtube clip, people would have believed it without hesitation. But when a Chelsea player makes an accusation we're told we should just 'move on.'

 

It's 5 hours after the game and I'm already tired of repeating the same story about the ref today. It is clear to everyone that he seriously messed up today and if he has been racist and insulted our players, he should be sacked and good for it after todays performance

 

Should be sorted soon enough as ref's have microphones on them.

Not only did the lip readers agree that he said exactly what it looked like he said, but Terry admitted it.
He argued context and intent, not that he didn't say what he was accused of saying. There's absolutely no doubt about the words that he used.

surely a referee who is miked up would not use racist language

surely the FA would not employ a ref who uses racist language

surely Chelsea would not lie about the ref saying something racist

surely the press won't have invented a story involving racism to sell papers

Apparently the non-Mikel incident was referring to one of your players as a, "Spanish twat".
The officials are mic'd up, but they're not recorded, by the way.

Depends on where he did it, if he did. There was a suggestion earlier that it was in the tunnel, which would mean there's a good chance that it was filmed and that he's ****ed.
If he did it on the pitch, then he may well have been caught, too.

They're not recorded, though.
And I don't know if they're always 'on' so that other officials can hear the ref the whole time.

 

Ive just seen the mikel incident as some are rep[orting it. Its just after the goal in the 76th minute. He makes a shush sign to mikel. From what I saw he says nothing offensive at all. Mikels reaction is literally one of someone whos been told to shut up.

It cant be that then.

 

The club had no choice but to stand by their players and follow through with their complaint after Clattenburg refused to apologise. The FA should investigate the incident just as thoroughly as they did after the Terry incident; at least the courts won't get involved this time.

 

Hernandez deserved it for his celebration... The coins and seats just missed him! But I hear there was also a scrap outside between both sets of fans as well...

 

Clattenburg's a dodgy **** and always has been.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's bent, and not necessarily in United's favour. He had a few problems during the week in Moscow as well (Spartak-Benfica).

 

Let's not dig up Terry saga please, it can only bring no good.

I cannot believe that a ref would use racist language (or anything that could be deemed racist) after what happened with Terry and the KIO on going campaign. At Chelsea's ground. Simply unbelievable and if proven, will deserve anything he gets I.e the most severe punishment.
