The season is falling flat after a fantastic run. The manager and team have been magnificent and I won't criticise them in any way. Thanks for the journey. It's a real shame that with a small squad hit by injuries, suspensions and magnificent long cup run those few players who have taken us so far have run out of steam.

Play-offs not impossible, but unlikely. Next season I really hope the £500k unexpected profit is ploughed back into the team so we have a real chance of promotion. Given what I've seen this season we are as good as any, including BHA, and promotion is within our grasp.

Will we get the additional investment?

According to the Beeb, the O's made £800,000 before the replay at the Emirates.
I'm not sure how much of that money will be used on legal costs concerning the Olympic Stadium though and could be used as an excuse for not spending the money on the team

I'm definitely expecting us to be stronger for next season,he's got to spend some of that money,we need a bigger squad of first teamers to go for promotion, and a few Arsenal youngsters on loan would be good.

I wouldn't expect Barry Hearn to use a whole lot of that money though.

I think we will see a larger squad next season. BH will expect RS not to spend big on transfer fees, but to get in decent loanees and pick up some good youngsters released by larger clubs, or out of contract players.

RS obviously wants to play football and I think that because of this he will attract a few decent loan signings and players who want to play football. We are probably going to be considered as a good bet for mid table/play-offs next season, so again, you'd think better quality players would consider us.

BH isn't going to break the Bank because of 1 decent season, but he won't want to lose RS, as he's the best manager I've seen at this level for quite some time.

    Up the O's.

Had a quick look-see on the teams website and wikipedia and it looks something like this...

    Jones
    Butcher - Expires in June

    Whing - Expires in June
Daniels - 1 year remaining on contract
    Chorley - Expires in June
Forbes - 1 year remaining on contract
    Omozusi
    Brown - Expires in June
Cestor - 1 year remaining on contract

Cox - 1 year remaining on contract
Dawson - 1 year remaining on contract
Spring - 1 year remaining on contract
    Smith - Expires in June
    Crowe - Expires in June
    Chambers

Revell - 1 year remaining on contract
    McGleish - Expires in June
Tehoue - 1 year remaining on contract
    Jarvis - Expires in June
Porter - 1 year remaining on contract

Only ones that I couldn't find a mention of their current contracts for were Jones, Omozusi and Chambers, looks like a lot of work for Mr Slade!
