Against the Villa, according to numerous people on a leading social networking website. Vile animals. Lock 'em up.

If nothing else it's re-assuring to know that you believe everything you read on twitter btw, I know a scheme that is guaranteed to make you £2 million in the next two months, all you need to do is deposit £50,000 in to my account and you will be minted! Interested?
Don't know what is worse, the idea of a group of people thinking Jimmy Savile is a good point for humour or some prick on this forum who uses a picture of the abuser of young children and tries as much as possible to get attention for doing so?
I really don't have a clue why Norwich fans would sing anythign about Jimmy Saville, either as a funny joke, or at Villa supporters or players. Call me thick, but I just don't get it. Ther's nothing in it. As for a "number of twitterati" all saying it, maybe they just copied someone else's tweet and claimed it as their own. Much like most other ****e rumours. Can someone who thinks it works for them please explain to me how it works that Norwich fans should be singing about JS (is it claimed in some hero or humourous manner?) cos I just can't work it out?
I'm proud to say I come from a belief that there is not a single bit of humour in ****philia. I guess those who think it is rather funny, would not be so smug if their own family member was involved, sad really.
Laughing at Jimmy is different to laughing at the victims of his actions. I don't care what Norwich are chanting its not important to me.
It's humour for a reason, because it's not being serious. If they were seriously glorifying *****phile rape, then yes, be outraged. But FFS, it's done for comic effect, with clear 100% irony behind it. I've heard Newcastle fans with my own ears singing 'Jimmy Savile, he's Cattermole's dad', and no I don't believe everything I read on Twitter, but when so many people hear it at the same time and write about it independent of each other, I do tend to think there's both smoke and fire in it. People need to dismount their lofty equines and stop taking meaningless words so seriously.
Only an idiot would see humour in what Savile did, it is as simple as that. There is no irony, there is no joke, there is no humour, it is simply not funny in any capacity. Your use of his image says more about you than perhaps you would have hoped for, and that is not a positive comment. Edit: Like that prick Frankie Boyle, people who see humour is other people's suffering, fail to see what it must be liked to be abused and it's effect on the individual, the family, the friends etc, they just think they have a right to say and use images as they see fit. Well you don't and the sooner you wake up to that, the better.
Yes there is humour in it - the humour is in the shock factor of people mock-glorifying an obvious dickhead just because he's a fellow Loiner. Just like the songs about Barry George Different people have different tastes, but to try imposing yours on everyone else in such a barbative fashion is at best pious.
No there isn't any humour in it, wake up to that fact and move on. I guess you think 'ME' and that is all, you don't even consider for one minute what the person who was abused by Savile must have felt and how it has effected their life, No, of course not, it's fun on your part and that's all that matters. Your humour is nothing more that a waste of space.
Well done, you just ignored my argument completely and typed the same thing as your last post. I know you've been on the Carling, but do try and make something of an effort, old boy. I never said there was humour in his actions per se, the humour is in the satirical sideswipe at the national hysteria that has succeeded his death, with every Tom Dick and Harry claiming to have been given one by the old codger.
It wasn't sung directly to victims of Savile's attack, it was sung at Sheffield Wednesday/Sunderland fans in response to their own chants about Leeds being a town full of *****s and Stephen Taylor deserving death, respectively. If someone went up to someone Jim fixed it for and mocked them for their penetrative past, then that's obviously in bad taste. But jokes are by their very nature designed to be told behind someone's back, just the same as you might bitch about a colleague or take the piss out of one of your mates when they're not there, after they've embarrassed themselves in some way. 'Say it to their face' merchants want to make the world boring. HE SHAGS WHO HE WANTS.
