I am very tempted to leave this site

supposedly the loyalest fans in the league, well you's aren't half proving that…

Not naming names but NMG as far as I'm concerned your a geordie in disguise who's only point is that of wumming, all you ever do is slag players off and slag the team off…

others are starting to jump on the bandwagon saying that O'Neil is **** and that the team is relegation material…

now whilst you are entitled to your opinion think…

    1. O'Neil pulled us out of it last year, and whilst people will claim that we finished poorly (which we did) after the cup run, the players had nothing to play for and therefore switched off (which is wrong but what can you do as a manager if the team think like that)

    2. defensively we have been brilliant imo, we are just lacking in that final third, people claim that we are boring to watch…are you honestly bothered? id happily play boring **** and win 1-0 then play fancy and concede, plus O'Neill's style is counter attacking, which will work when said players get back into form (can't do much when players are out of form) the tactic proved to be a success at villa where he got a **** team playing well together…

    3. Our 3 creative players are currently not in form (any of them) with only fletcher the goalscorer for our team…and therefore confidence in some of the more attacking players will be low

    4. if we win against villa or whoever after that, everyone will say its a good start to the season…

read my posts from last week mate still behind him, as most on here are, with a couple of exceptions, its you who has the wrong end of the stick, what we are saying is that even a blind man can see we need to change personnel, formations and tactics, we have no plan B, the defence is working FINE, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ATTACK ITS TOOTHLESS due in part to a crap midfield, if we can see who needs dropping, and formations the surly he can.

MoN, is a class act, but still suffering from the fat geordies purchases. as for NMG. HE is a waste of fresh air. so going over to Syds site pretty much full time. cant understand how our board has been dragged down this low.

Defencely in the mid 1980's we were good but never brilliant, we have the most mundane midfield i can remember, where is Malbranque, Zenden, Henderson, when you need them, and the players SHOULD be in form by now, they need a boot up the arse by Keane to get them going again. Not buying Moses and Dempsey etc seems to be telling now, why will Colback not get up the pitch and have a shot on goal?. For gods sake have a go at the Boro and if we get beat at least we can say they tried rather than playing like wimps. And what happened last season is gone now, as we have not played since the QPR game either for some reason.

So do we have to be happy clapping follow the lemmings over the edge of the cliff brigade to get in here now?

Oh, I'm truely sorry, here's me thinking it was a forum for people to voice their opinion no matter what that is.

    Silly me, <doh>.

You can express any opinion you want mate...However, it doesn't mean that everyone else has got to share that point of view..

Reg, that's exactly what I was attempting to say mate but we have folk threatening to leave because of pessimism.

Well I'll tell you this marra, I'm the most pessimistic bloke you will ever meet, I find being that way easier to deal with lifes let downs.

I have no problem with the follow the leader brigade mate but I do have a problem when people think I should be ostracized because I refuse to toe the party line.

If folk want to leave, it's their choice, if we all agreed all of the time then what is the point of it all?

Let him vent. ****ers are complaining about the team and manager, other ****ers are complaining about the first set of ****ers. Everyone needs to vent occasionally Billy, you of all people should know that.

I pay for 2 season tickets mate, one for me and one for my son and when i go to the match i want to be entertained. Naturally i want us to win but i also want to see a decent match, not a defensive master class.
I am right behind the manager and club, always have been and always will be but if this style of play continues for the rest of the season then i will be seriously thinking about not renewing my tickets for next season. It's ****ing depressing to watch and frustrating to watch as well, we buy 2 top drawer attacking players in Fletch and Johno and we string 5 across the middle of the park and play one up top?????? what the **** is that all about?

The fans who travelled to Stoke yesterday should be reimbursed, fancy paying all that money to watch that ****e yesterday? we were ****ing ****e as were Stoke and we need to change.

Sorry to hear that bill, as for how the site has sunk this low is because people like yourself and Ji are leaving because some don't agree with what you or him say or believe. NMG is a no mark geordie wind up in my opinion and as ever my advice about such people is ignore them or take what they say with a pinch of salt.
I'm on Syds site as well mate and to be fair to Syd it's all about agreeing with each other although after yesterday the seeds of discourse seem to be creeping in over there as well.
So instead of the big song and dance about leaving this site why don't you just leave?
Or is it because you want someone to try and talk you back round?
