And 2 of those shots came in the last 10 minutes of the match! Arsenal at least tried harder and had 21 shots, 11 of them on goal! in 90 minutes!!!!!! Granero had a perfect opportunity to at least go for goal with a free kick, or at least loop a cross into the box - and what does he do - he passes it sideways and back, and the ball goes all the way back!!!! A total waste! What - we don't want to shoot or something?
Exactly Yappy We all too often look scared to have a go but how else are we going to score? That said Zamora looked disinterested and weak today, and Cisse is certainly not supersub this season
Yes, I agree. Everybody is talking about how it could be a draw, but the truth is we had 4 shots, that's not good football.
When we went for it in the last few mins, even with 10 men we had two very good chances. Why the **** are we so negative for most of the game? Hughes is ****e!!!!
He's just clueless. Obviously not a disciplinarian, nor an organizer, and definitely not a motivator. I just don't understand what TF sees in him, except for the fact that perhaps, TF just doesn't want to be proven wrong already on the first managerial choice he's EVER made for the club. It's time for TF to wake up and realize that it's OK to rifle through managers as much as possible, well, we rifled through all those old players and brought in new ones - what's the difference? I don't see any. We're going to have new managers in our future, no matter what, so the only way for TF to save face is to make sure we don't go down. Does he not realize how hard it is in The Championship? I guess he'll sell us off if we go down, eh?
I think there is only one manager that would have an immediate effect on the team and confidence.I dont think Tony can afford to sack Hughes and his team of backroom staff and agents
“Prior to the sending-off I made a couple of positive substitutions because I thought we were the more likely team to win the game. Apart from Santi Cazorla, when he blazed the ball over, I can’t remember Arsenal having too many chances. We didn’t come here to try and shut up shop. We played two up front as I felt there were areas of Arsenal’s team we could get at. It was a good, professional performance, but again we’ve not got our reward.” These are Hughes' words but they don't seem to match the stats. I wasn't there this year but those who were, does this sound like an accurate description of the match?
So then TF is NOT a good businessman nor an Entrepreneur, at all - just a façade actor-spokesman representing poorly managed teams. I think it's ridiculous to have himself put in a corner like that! After all the hype he uses to sell himself as a good businessman, he's stuck with a ****ty manager and whole load of worthless backroom staff? Surely as a shrewd businessman who earned his degree from LSE, he would know to sack people properly and to downsize to make the firm more efficient and effective with better quality managers.
Stay cool man. At the end of the day, irrespective of who manages or owns the club, it's likely we'll both still be here. So will the poster, you refer to. We're on the same side.
He's completely in denial mate!! 4-4-2 against that midfield of Arsenal's? 70% possession!! Says it all.
Spot on mate! Every time we manage to get to their side of the pitch we were scared of the next move. Almost every pass we made about 30-40 yard from their goal was absolutely clueless. SWP.........A mystery to me. How on earth he is playing in the premier league side?
