with such a ****e line up today, and some woefull tactical decisions, like Rose off, instead of McClean, no Zaha to support Fletch, I wonder now if its time Mon got a kick up the arse from Ellis, as if i had pumped in as much as he has i would be expecting to watch a decent game, not this boring ****e, Things must change and soon. hope Mon goes away from this game and has a deep think of where to go from here, He is starting to loose the crowd and as we all know on Wearside that can be fatal.

If he loses the crowd this quickly then the crowd want to give the heeds a shake!
All I feel is wrong is a hefty lack of confidence, which in my opinion is leading us to strive not to lose games rather than going out to win them...Given time and patience, I'm sure that MON will get this sorted.

We need to remember that we have still only been beaten once and a draw away to Stoke is a good result to anyone. City only managed a draw there recently.

However our starting lineup today was very deflating. I thought we'd seen the last of a Catts and Colbak central mid since Bruce left! We have Saha, Campbell and Wickham waiting for a chance so why do we still keep sticking to a 5 man midfield when none of them are performing!

If that is how you feel then it is your prerogative to do so..However, I feel that it is far too early to start getting on MON's back.

On todays performance we couldn't buy a win, time for a change of tactics and players, as i cant see a win with this set up even against Villa at home.

    How much patience though?

    1 win in 16
    No attacking play all season
2nd best to every team this season
In all truth it has been disastrous for about 7 months.

My patience is running out and I'm not ashamed to say it, even if we had a couple less points but performances were encouraging, I would still be right behind O'Neill. It's the fact O'Neill cannot get the best out of our undoubtedly talented forwards, dunno if this is down to tactics (I think it is) or he can't motivate them, either way it is ultimately down to him and it needs to change almost instantly.

I'm inclined to agree with you.

I'm not calling for Marty's head & am prepared to give him more time but he desperately needs to change the set up.

We can all see it, I think he can too but I fear that his own stubborness will be his own downfall.

I still think MoN is picking up the pieces from Bruce's demise.

If we didn't get MoN when we did, I think we could have easily got relegated last season, just fortunate we did and the player's responded enough to keep us up.

Though performances aren't the best, I hate to add the concept of 'well there are more teams worst than us, to keep us up'. We shouldn't be looking at a season where we have too have a mindset of looking at three sides that are more or less worse than us, to keep us up.

I'm hoping we can get certain player's back in their proper position's asap, but we also need to give Sess and McClean a good shake and get them up to the standard we expect because it's not looking too good when they are on the pitch together.

I for 1 was over the moon when o'neill came as he was sum1 i wanted for a long time and it was a great initial couple of months but for me the tactics are too negative both home and away and i have began to dread matchdays as the games bore me sh****ss and the only part of the day i enjoy is the pre match banter and drinks but i dont want mon out but i can see that unless the games improve the bored fans will just stop coming and stay in the pubs

Sess has proved he has the ability mate. Not sure if he want's away or not but if he does, he's going about it the wrong way & why the **** sign a new contract?

Jimmy Mack on the other hand, I fear may have been found out & be a one season wonder.

I get sick to death of hearing the rhetoric they come out with in the local press.

"We need to do this, we need to do that, we'll be alright, blah, blah, blah."

Just keep your yaps shut & get out on the pitch & do it ffs.

Surely,a point away to Stoke has got to be positive! Now,the team have got to kick-on against both Boro' and Villa with two positive results and performances.I expect both, and,if not, we need to change the team around a bit.MON must stay long-term....get off his back, and give him a chance.

Just how patient do you want us to be??? don't get me wrong, i'm not calling for the managers head, i'm 100% behind him as i still firmly believe that he is the right man for the job. But for **** sake, when will he realise that 4-5-1 is not the way forward? and when will we see any sign of a Plan B? if i were a sub i'd be well pissed off to think that Jimmy Mac was getting a game ahead of me, he has been crap this season but MON still includes him in the team, it just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't want to go and watch that ****e that was served up yesterday, infact every game so far this season, it's ****ing pitiful. I'd rather we got beat having a go than turn up to watch us grind out a ****ty lackluster draw.
