Time is up mr bruce....get out of my club.. Losing to a average fulham team 3 nil at home, why on earth do you think fans are watching it at the pub!!! Said this earlier in season even when we were sitting pretty in 6th... He has no clue! Failed to beat mags twice... They are above us in the table having spent ã0, other teams like wba, stoke, fulham, bolton etc all above us and they have spent hardly any money plus dont have a stiker with the quality of gyan but we still cant have a decent season and will finish 14th or 15th just like i said at start of the season... Its frankly not good enough yes you can blame injuries to a certain extent but you need back up... The fact is he went into the final and most important part of the season with 1 fit striker, we all said what happens if gyan gets injured??? Everyone said it will be fine because welbeck and cambell are back (injured at time) this was to risky and should have got someone in even short term, quin and bruce have gambled with what could have been out best season in decades and has back fired!!! Quin have some backbone get rid of him now... Dont wait do it now and get oneil in!! Rant over
I said more or less the same thing not too long ago in a conversation with you I think? The second half of the season has been a complete disaster because of the unacceptable number of strikers left to see out the season. (sorry for using the plural!) Football is big business, so I would not be surprised at all if Ellis Short is ready and waiting with the axe. For example, a haulage manager who has 50 delivery trucks, would soon be out of the door if he only hired 30 drivers, so if SB survives the axe, it will be plainly obvious that it was not only him that decided the club could get away with not signing another striker in January.
There are loads of Sunderland fans who are Geordies who you are insulting with that comment. Mt personal view is that we should stick by Bruce. We have been dogged by injuries this season, and that must be at least partially down to our training methods. Hopefully, Bruce will learn by this and rectify this problem before next season. History shows that Managers that are given time to learn from their mistakes are usually the more successful ones in the long term..
Ha ha. I know ****ing loads of Geordies who support Sunderland (Shields , Gateshead etc). I don't know any Mackems who support the Toon mind. Hence why i use the term 'Mags'.

Erm, they do mate, my lass is a Geordie, from a Geordie family. She supports the toon, so does her dad. Her 2 brothers, also Geordie, are Sunderland season ticket holders. Is this simple enough? There are stacks of shields lads, there are stacks of Gateshead lads, who are Geordies, and Sunderland fans. Geordies and Mackems is not possible. Geordie and SUNDERLAND FAN, is.
Their sunlun fans, that's fair enough but they are not Geordies. They made their beds and all that. You can't have it both ways kidda.
Geordie is a collective term for people born along the banks of the river Tyne. Both North and South shields border the river Tyne. When trying to be clever, be sure to know what the **** your talking about first. There are many, many opinions of course as to the 'real' definition of the term, the majority involve the river.
I know exactly what I'm talking about. If your from shields (like I am) you are niether a Geordie or a mackem. There is an even split down the middle with regards the team supported. To call some one from shields a geordie supporting sunder loan is ridiculous. Shields is actually closer to queerside then it is Newcastle.
Hmm. I guess i thought the that people would work that out for themselves like, seeing as his post referred to people as 'idiots' and his statement was cod ****e.
But it IS on the banks of the Tyne. People from Shields choose many different monikers for themselves, and that is plainly their own choice, but you will find many, many Shields lad and lasses who refer to themselves as Geordies, and as it is ON THE TYNE, therfore IN TYNESIDE and NOT IN WEARSIDE, they can do so. The SHIELDS FERRY crosses the RIVER TYNE which links NORTH AND SOUTH SHIELDS. Tell me how is a town that is actually IN SOUTH TYNESIDE closer to Wearside? YOU are a plank. You live there for ****s sake surely you are aware of the river Shields, North and South have banks on? You crack me up.
