Holloway rants about how Blackpool made a mistake by not selling Phillips to Saints

"For those of you with Saints Player listen to Holloway's pre match interview before they play Brighton today.

Absolute rant about his current situation with potential job offers, his poor Blackpool contract and the difficulty working with Karl Oyston who makes Cortese seem easy to deal with.

He basically admitted that they should have sold Phillips to us, that they have always told their players if they play well and get a better opportunity they will let them go. He said Phillips was calling him every five mins asking to go and that it has been hard to motivate him after his Chairman told them Phillips couldn't go. He said Oyston is a bastard to deal with and had not answered any of our calls which ****ed off Phillips.He said it had a big impact on other players in the squad and they probably didn't get that situation right.

That's just one part of a mental interview that's well worth a watch."

Maybe we were all premature in thinking Holloway was the ****er in the situation.

 

Surely he's not doing himself any favours with this? Unless he actually does want to go and manage Blackburn as touted...

Holloway is a moron who blames everyone but himself. If he had gone to Saints he would have had a huge rant at how Saints tapped him up. Now he hasn't he can moan about how his chairman blocked the move and prevented him getting decent money to spend. He's just a hypocrite.

Holloway is a prick. His rants aren't funny. All he does is moan. He's just a nob. He is a complete prick claiming we tried to tap Phillips up. Holloway's face and demeanor after Rickie's last gasp equaliser last season was hilarious

 

Most of the journo's reporting on the story said it was extremley likely we would go back for him in January, cant imagine he'll have many more suitors after his poor start to the season this year.

We need more then just defenders, yes granted they are higher up on our list. But we still need to improve all our team.

 

He's incredibly thick or at least comes across that way listening to how he speaks.

 

Probably explains why Blackpool have been a bit inconsistent since the end of August...

 

I actually think he talks a lot of sense in the interview tbf.
