Useless fact of the day - The tin man was originally cast as the scarecrow and the scarecrow was originally cast as the tin man. More useless factoids later.
Mine will probably look considerably dodgy, if i tried. Like Baldrick when he put a slug under his nose in Blackadder. At the minute people are saying i should just wipe the smudge off with a cloth.
Ah but the tin man who was the scarecrow who was the tin man was (Buddy Ebsen) Barnaby Jones later on actually left the film before filming started as he was allergic to the tin of the costume. Another factoid.
From the 1st November I shall be growing my pubes again. Been smooth on the stalk and sack for years. Should yield well I reckon.
Movember is an excuse for ****s to act even more ****y than normal. It doesnt even work as a name - the word 'mo' isnt used in England. We say Tache.
Like I.said on the other thread when you said this. Tachetember or notacheter sound worse. Just let it go bum chin, let it go
But on a serious point why is it ****y to grow face fungus to raise money for prostate cancer charity? It's a charity that means a lit to me so anything to raise money for this great cause is the antithesis of a ****
The cause is a noble one, it's the 'hilarious antics' of growing a moustache for 30 days that is massively ****y.
Do it for 30 days after Shrove Tuesday and have the start day called Tache Wednesday. Job fookin' done and far better than inventing a term (mo) that I have NEVER heard a single person say when referring to growing facial hair.
The wife says she won't kiss me if I grow a mo (see, I've just used it in england) - double bonus after raising money for prostate cancer I say!
I'm doing it. I also came across the term "decembeard" for the first time yesterday supposedly to describe the growing out of the mo. That acceptable for you Bum chin? For the record tache Wednesday could be preceded by shave Tuesday.
YES!!! That is so much better than Mofookinvember and you all know it. edit - Im genuinely a little disturbed that I didnt think of that. It's both obvious and brill.
We're doing a Movember event in October? (We can't be wearing the shirts all next month unless we're going to have a double up and have poppies put on for a game as well)
none taken. its a bit of fun for a month [and a good cause] and afterwards the beard is back within a few days.
