    What an incredible show.
I missed the 1st series when it originally aired, so downloaded it and have watched the 1st series over the last 3 nights and have now watched the 1st 2 episodes of the 2nd series.
Its possibly my favourite programme ever after The Sopranos.
    Anyone watching it?
    Also whats everyones favourite show?

Aye is really good, loving that one.

Favourites is tough though, like lots for different reasons. Ones I'm watching at the minute are.

    Breaking Bad
    Dexter
    Fringe
    Walking Dead
    Criminal Minds
    Mentalist

Our of that lot probably Breaking Bad my fave, the end of the last season was brilliant.

I can also recommend the West Wing and the wire from old stuff, very good.

You got any tips for ones I might have missed as am a TV junkie?

24 was one of my faves and Homeland reminds me of it a bit.
    Heroes
Fringe is great and the final series just started this week.
Strike Back is also very good.

I was only introduced to it earlier this year. It's a bit like a motorcycle version of the sopranos.

Best thing on tv at the minute

We are sky plussing Dexter, Mentalist, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, Modern Family, True Blood, Walking Dead. New ones we have started are Hunted, Arrow and Chicago Fire (soon to run out of space on sky!!!). The Mrs is recording Dallas like so I can always delete that first.

Sounds like me. Loving it, i have to say. Don't watch much telly in the spring/summer/autumn but when winter comes it's hbo season. Watched the first series and first 3 of 2nd in matter of days. Last year was 'the wire'. After this it'll be breaking bad.....then I'll have a Derek at some of these suggestions on here. Like the sound of sons of anarchy.

As long as you don't get caught up In the barely conceived propaganda and glaring inaccuracies and take it for what it is its a genuinely gripping show

    Ha all the above!
Downloaded all of Breaking Bad and watched them all in about two weeks. Brilliant show. Can't wait for the final half of the last season to start.
And the walking dead new series is off to a gruesome flier. The Americans do make some cracking tv.
Not a fan of Strikeback though. It's like 24 for daily star readers. No offence intended ;-)

It's great, lots of guns, explosions and naked women. It's a bit mind numbing but great entertainment.

What programme do you use to download stuff? I use kickass torrents then vuze then transfer it to my Xbox 360 to watch it on tv, it's a fantastic set up.

I use kick ass torrents also. Then just stick em on a hard drive and play it through my ps3. If you have a smart tv you can just plug an external hard drive straight into it.

Yeah I've got a smart tv but the transfer from my mac to the tv sometimes doesn't work, so I find it easier to transfer to my Xbox which is instant.

Just downloaded breaking bad season 1, am I going to enjoy it? More importantly will the wife enjoy it, she doesn't like any violence or gore etc, will she cope with it?
