Im sure you've been asked before and are doubtless bored of this question but why luminous yellow for a match at St.James's?

The only reason i can think of is that Puma think we would leave the EL early so want us to wear the Euro kit more. Really should have worn Black and white tonight

I really like our lime green kit... Bought it tonight before the game.

To be honest, there is no reason whatsoever for the 3rd kit if we don't use it in Europe, so we have to.

The maroon away and our traditional black and white mean we should never clash with the opposition, except apparently our arch rivals <doh>. From what I can see, the lime green is just the unofficial European top <ok>

But surely for a home match you should always be in black and white stripes! Anything else just seems wrong.

I cant imagine going down to Loftus Road and seeing us trot out in hot pink or something like that. Then again. Cant imagine us in Europe either...

I seem to remember us playing constantly in a European yellow kit the last time we were in the competition. Merchandising I guess. Personally, I like having a special kit for purpose, makes the games feel a bit special. Don't think anyone will agree though!
Brugge do have black stripes in their home tops, but if the chaps passing me on my way to the ground have an up to date away kit, then they have a very similar luminous kit to us as well, so they could have easily switched it around and let us wear traditional colours.

As long as we don't do a Cardiff and change our league home kit colours, I'm fine with it.

I always thought we should use B&W stripes for our home games, but I think there's some sort of agreement about using the lime green ones for Euro games and the marroon ones for away games and our original strips for the Prem home games.

It's just another way of selling more tops.
