If all these stats are correct then a draw was a fair result. So why is everyone saying we were lucky?
Also people going on about shots on target, a shot from the half way line could trickle through to the goalie and be classed as a shot on target where as a shot which hits the post is off target but i know which one was the better chance. Stats mean **** all really.
Not on the performance I watched against you lot! - As you will probably say you can only play the team in front of you - well so can we I guess, from other comments, that all Mag fans think there was no luck involved in the Newcastle goal (as I said, the slip - lucky, Great passes from Simpson and HBA admitted - shot from Ba and Deflection from O'Shea were just as lucky regardless of the oon target - If the ball isn't in the right area you can't score - we put the ball in the right area and so did you's - we both had our luck - just we can accept our luck - you seem to think it's a divine right!
The slip was lucky for us, but Cabaye's shot was going in regardless. Do I think you were lucky to get a draw? Certainly not, you had enough of the ball (second half) to warrant a point. Did you do enough with that possession to warrant all 3 points? If we're honest you didn't, probably not even close. Meaning a draw was a fair result
