What side would you put out against Barcelona?

    If we were to play Barcelona in the CL, who would you play?

    I'd personally play -

    ------Ba------Shola---------

    Jonas--Tiote--Cabaye---HBA

    Santon--Colo--Perch--Simpson

    -----------Krul------------

    I think we could do with our two quicker CB's who are better on the ball. We wouldn't really need a tall CB vs Barca. But I'd play Ba and Shola up front because Barca aren't really great at dealing with bigger players.

    I'd play:

    ----------------Ba----------

    Jonas-----------------------HBA

    ---------Cabaye--Tiote---------

    --------------Perch------------

    Santon--Saylor/Willo--Colo--Simmo

    ---------------Krul--------------


    Celtic and others have proven counter-attacking and using set-plays are a solid strategy against them, so I'd add an extra man in midfield in Perch and stick with a big lad at the back to come up for corners and free-kicks. Willo vs Barca would be hilarious.

    Ben Arfa's performance versus Sunderland was fantastic, because his runs alleviated so much pressure as much as imparting attacking input.

    Yes Santon at CB as that's where I see him one day as he's 6ft something, very good tackler, has pace, is composed, does not look for the long ball, good in the air but can't cross for ****

    Also swap Barnes with Ginola or Benny and Barton for Santon and you have yourself a team

    Shay would have to be on the top of his game, not just saving from the entire Barca team, but also from Bramble(remember his header save against a Bramble volley)
