Rafa will do well at ££££, he can spend just as much as Mankini and get **** all in return.

Seriously, I can't believe some City fans are actually now calling for Mancini's head saying they'll never achieve anything with him. So your first two top trophies in forty odd years just isn't good enough?! ****wits.

With the money he has spent, I would expect better, he is an average Euro manager, with rich sugar daddy.

I don't get why he keeps trying to play with 3 at the back, it's not come close to working for him yet and the players he has at his disposal just don't seem to fit that style at all, it doesn't even feel like it's one of his formations, it's like he just wants to try and emulate the Italian formation from the Euro's but they had players that fit that style perfectly.

Citys squad is weaker than last year and we all know how close it was.

Not only that but he seems to be playing a different formation every other match, not playing Yaya high up enough and numerous other mistakes.

They don't look like champions and whether they win it or not this year (PL) the dreams City fans had of dominating the league for years to come must be vanishing like mist in the cold hard light of day.

Skyped with my dad today, and he was saying the same thing. He couldnt take the smile off his face as he was saying that some City fans want Mancini out.
All this glory is going to their heads.

I'll give him to the end of the season - tops. With the financial restrictions beginning to bite, plus the loss of TV and match day revenues, they won't keep him on. Hopefully they won't get Guardiola.

Oops - repeat post, sorry guys.

He needs to win it to stay in a job IMO. You've got to think that after last season a good european campaign was the goal and it just hasn't happened. Its the one thing they've yet to win so the owners will not be pleased.

Well if he gets top 3 and they still sack him i think that would be stupid of them but like you say they spent all of money they want to win the best competition.

Mega rich owners have not exactly been known for their reasonable decisions in the past.

Can't see him sacked anytime soon. Yes they're going out of UCL but in the PL they're doing great.

The owners will be asking themselves what else Mancini needs to make an impact on the CL. They've given him Silva, Dzeko, Tevez, Toure, Nasri, Aguero...who else does he need to sign to get out of the group stages? Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi and Iniesta?

I'd be shocked to see many more massive money signings under Mancini tbh. He wasn't given much to spend in the summer and given his admission of screwing up, he'll not be given much imo to resolve any problems come January. The end is nigh for Mancini.

AVB twice the manager of RDM? This was the guy who took time out to take part in the draw for the 5th round of the Scottish FA Cup while back at the ranch everything was fallen round his ears.......clearly showed where his priorities were.

As to his qualities as a manager.....you only have to look at his "charge of the light brigade" approach v Utd (away) and Arsenal (home) - the high line (with an aged defence) he employed against Arsenal was suicidal for which RVP was very grateful. Majority would've noticed this apart from those who were experiencing reception difficulties with their TV.
