Hope there aren't any Liverpool fans reading this... Geordies could probably give a genuine shout against it, though. I take it that you're not claiming that the Dutch league is close to Prem quality, DL? As for the evenly matched PSV and Feyenoord: Less so than Spurs and Wigan, apparently.
To me, it was blindingly obvious when you played us that you were vulnerable to pace at the back. I'm sure that didn't go unnoticed by Shaktar. If you live in Spain, you soon see the difference between the way young people especially, behave. They are far more health conscious generally. Going "down the pub" for a few pints every night is virtually unheard of. When we watched the European championship final at a local venue, there were few people consuming alcohol. most were on soft drinks or water. In the main, they don't drink much alcohol. Are much more fitness orientated - and are sports mad. In other words, the players probably take their responsibilities as professional sports players much more consciously than seemingly do many premiership players. As for the coaching, the work done on controlling and keeping possession of the ball, that's all been said before.
Dona, I don't see how he's going anywhere in the prem other than chelsea mate. - (if they want him now, that is??!!) we will not meet the demands Donetsk want. therefore unless something changes dramatically, the transfer is out of the question. a shame really, as he'd be a great addition from what I've seen of him. he's versatile and we need that right now. it seems that despite his ambition to leave, the club are desperate to get a fortune for him, which is fair enough. however, £27 mill is a bit too much for someone who's played twice for his country. at that money it's chelsea only. unless they actually get realistic with the price.
Senior players sabre rattling at City is ominous. They'll consider themselves too good not to be in the CL so are we going to see a mass exodus? As has been written Mancini is running out of apologies. I'm tingling with the prospect of hard times at City.
Tingle away, it won't be happening. Just as you've got it all wrong about Chelsea, you're now geting it all wrong about City. They'll be in the top 3 come May, as will Chelsea, and the salaries City players are earning will keep the vast majority of them at the club, plus if they want they'll buy some more to cover any leavers.
Well let's just hope we find our form proper over the next four matches Ghoddle as we have City soon and let's just wait and see whether I have it wrong or not. The season isn't over yet. When we go one nil down I hear a lot of gloom from us and a lot of glee from others when the match isn't even over. As for buying expensive players to replace the present very expensive ones I'm not sure that it would be that easy as Mancini isn't cutting it in the CL which is what his boss wants. They won't be as keen to hand many millions over to a loser. So they will be top three which is a comedown from top one isn't it? Also Ajax's players were mostly homespun and walloped them. Opinions Ghoddle, opinions.
Yep opinions TMT, opinions, and our opinions massively disagree on Chelsea and now, to some extent over City. Though if you're saying a top 3 finish is 'tough times', then we're just debating over what we mean by tough, and if City finishing top 3 gets you tingling, mmmm. As for this possible exodus and the rest of it, as you say we'll see how how it pans out over the season.
Tough times could mean players unhappy ie Balotelli and Tevez with others throwing tantrums. All sorts of behind the scenes arguments etc etc. It's already been stated that senior players are unhappy with Mancini. I posted that the prospect of tough times makes me tingle Ghoddle, the PROSPECT. I'm only saying that a top three finish will be a comedown on top one,I'm not saying that top three will be tough times, you mentioned top three. If there's no trophy top three will only mean a passage through to the CL again. They wobbled a bit last season.
So you're now tingling at the PROSPECT of City getting top 3, mmm you are easily TINGLED what most teams would give for 'only finishing top 3' and automatic CL qualification. I think their fans would be TINGLING over that too. I would be TRIPLE TINGLED if we made top 3 this season
Let's just hope our team doesn't die again like last season. That was a bitter pill to swallow.Harry for England or no!!!!!
Only two matches worth noting today. Ghoddle,I posted that I'm tingling at the prospect of tough times for City not whether they get top three or whatever. If they get tough times because of the failure in the CL I will welcome them. Please stop making a mountain etc etc. Now Arsenal are down in the dumps a bit can Hoops spring a surprise in a London derby?
Probably not, unfortunately. They're ****, despite having a very good first half at WHL. Hughes will be out the door soon, in my opinion.
He should never have gone there imo PNP but I will be watching this match with interest. Also Swansea had a win last week so here's hoping that they can draw at City who will also be a bit down.
Arsenal pick Wilshere, be interesting to see whether he has much of an impact. They also seem to have picked 4 centre midfields (Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere and Arteta) Can't see that being effective?
Dear Aston Villa, It has come to my attention that you are utter, utter ****. That's quite unfortunate. Yours sincerely, Absolutely Everybody.
0-0 at The Emirates which will not please anybody there. If they feel anything like I did when we went 0-1 behind against Hoops and have struggled to score in other matches then the fans will be mightily peed off and very concerned now. Come on Hoops and Wigan. P.S. to Aston Villa. Yours SINCERELY. THOR.
The way things are going at the wrong end of Seven Sisters Road, namely the spoiler tactics QPR are using, Wilshere's return from injury will be measured in minutes rather than matches.
