Who's going? Our first time there....the lad's well excited! Apparently there are 3k of us...should be fun!!
I'm going but get this in the arse corporate end, same side as you guys but other corner, so if you see a prawn sarnie fight think of me
Went last year and it was the quietest 60k people Ive ever heard, they sang 2 or 3 times and that was it. Its impressive if youre an architect but appalling if youre a football fan.
Went a few years ago to see them play citeh with my brother who's a season ticket holder at the emirates Impressive stadia but atmosphere was non existant and it was full of blokes who had brought their girlfriends Dull dull dull
catch 22 for me then! im going as well - went last year and it literally was a library. almost nicked a result last year so hoping for one step further this time.
Guess whos fault it was that cost us a point? It would also have helped if Warnock had tactics other than "lets keep the score down".
I am going. Club level. I am invited to it. Looking forward to it, hope Arsenal will be tired then, Schalke go ahead!!
Ah shight, two losses on the bounce for the Gunners. No chance of catching them complacent now! Hopefully they are lacking in confidence instead.
It would make a lovely venue for a Coldplay concert. Still worth catching a game if only for the cushioned seats.
Ah yes thats our superb right winger SWP. Terrible ball back to the defence/keeper in that game. We had worked so hard and gave it up just like that.
I'll be there with my Gooner mates. No idea what to expect, but last years team included Cerny, Connolly, Young, Gabbidon, Barton, Boothroyd as starters, with Campbell, Smith and Orr coming on as subs, and Warnock hurling foul mouthed abuse at the officials for 90 minutes (had the misfortune to be sitting just down the line from him). We are definitively a classier outfit all round now. The results will come.
