That goal from Oscar could be crucial for goal difference... I honestly think there is no need to panic. Win at the Bridge and we are top of the group. Lets move on, learn from our mistakes and prepare for a massive game on Sunday.
the Shackhtar coach was won at the bridge before apparently, 2-0,but i didn't catch who the team was.
Like I said before organisation at the back was non-existent RVP & Rooney must be licking their lips; only 3 players earning their keep: Cech, Mikel & Ramires as for our "target man" Torres....he has to be the best paid beneficiary in the UK (why isnt he working?).
I am not a fan boy but I think people are scapegoating Torres a little too much. He barely touched the ball, and it was a shocking lack of ball retention (Oscar especially) that was the cause, not him. Everyone had a bad game (excluding Mikel), and you can't blame only Torres for that.
Too good for us on the night. Cech and Mikel I thought were immense. Nevertheless we had 3 or 4 really good chances whilst most of out team had their worst game of the year, all at the same time. It happens unfortunately. I was most concerned to see Lamps and Mikel on the pitch at the same time, thought we'd put that nonsense behind us. Also think Cole is definetely not up to par so far, and JT just too bloody slow. Personally I would never play all 3 in the one team, it makes us slow in the middle, JT leaves gaps at the back and Cole seems too often out of position.

As long as we get 4 points from our next 2 CL games in all likelihood we will go through. If Shaktar can draw in Turin they are certainly no mugs away from home either so we can't afford to be as sloppy as we were at home to Juve. Had we won that we'd be laughing.
They were better than us on the night, it happens. I'm not too worried. They wont be that attacking or that good at the Birdge and we wont be that bad. Can only see a Chelsea win. Have to say, I'm starting to come around to Terry and Lampard perhaps being dropped now. Cahill has never done anything wrong and perhaps deserves the run that Terry's ban will afford him. Was it just me that thought perhaps Terry was partially at fault for both goals? (save for Hazard's moment of madness in the middle obviously).
Agree re: Lamps now, but not JT. I think him and Cahill would be fantastic. Try Luiz in midfield now, for more depth if anything!
In the CL final he did but against Spuds Luiz was pretty drab I thought, we'll see in the next 3 games anyway I guess, massive test vs RVP and Rooney which I'm dreading!
Not over concerned bout the result, just think they seemed more up for it than us, (mabe we underestimated them, personally i thought they played some great football) they were alot more eager too win the ball back than we were, having said that think too many of our plyers had an off day, think we'll get revenge in the 2nd leg.....and Torres........ has had tooooooo many fuggin off days, i have absolutely no confidence in him when he's in a goal scoreing oppertunity, i just think hear we go he's gonna fluff it. Think we need too cut our losses and let him go in the summer, some people keep on an on about he aint getting the service, we're not passing the ball quick enough, blah, blah, blah loada bollox he's just aint good enough, he'll probably go an score the winner against ole red hooter on sunday and prove me wrong......hopefully, but i want hold me breath.
