For Fudge sake ....... talk about a step in the wrong direction !! This kinda crap will only alienate people and create a new vice for the racists to target !! When will they ever agree that there will always be a "minority" of idiots that voice their opinions in a Non-PC way.???

Daft idea. Only the PC mob could really think otherwise. How is the "us and them" split possibly going to help? They'd be in danger of being a single-issue group, not a representative body, surely??

If there was ever talk of a white football association being formed there would be a massive outcry!

From what I have read in the papers even the black players cannot agree between themselves or with the ascribed association. What chance do the rest of us stand?

Does anyone else think that this racism malarky should be and is being dealt with appropriately when it raises its ugly head ?? My point is .... that every single isolated incident in the UK football leagues is highlighted beyond belief, to the point of labelling the professional black footballing community "drama queens"?

I do believe that all cases of racism should be tried and punished appropriately, and then move on. Cases appear to be as rare these days ......as a Leeds fan smacking a goalkeeper !!! The minority of idiots are swiftly dealt with then we move on ........ allowing the vast majority to enjoy life as we now know it.

If only John Terry had the balls to admit it and move on, mistake made, lesson learned, punishment served. Idiot !!

As far as I am concerned we are members of the human race so racism cannot exist. Colour and religious discrimination have thrived for years. Why are footballers any different?

No irony there at all ...if a black person wanted to join a white supremacist organisation would they let him?

(Is Danny Rose the culprit here? According to the Serbian FA, he was "vulgar and unsportsmanlike")

Too many incidences last season, we haven't kicked racism out of football at all - in fact we're not even close.

If we even so much as consider ourselves to be a decent and fair civilised community, then our black footballers need to be listened to and afforded a degree of democratic leverage to break away from the current situation of the 'kick out racism' campaign. Whether they are right or not to discuss their own separate racially defined union is irrespective of the fact that we have a malodorous sickness embedded in our society.

I just can't believe this, what is this Peter Herbert doing, promoting himself, what does he know about football, the rivalries and jealousies of fans. A black footballers association straight away segregates any black footballer, whether he is a member or not. We need better integration and understanding, not segregation. How many of you who are not racist have made a racist remark in the heat of the moment? I know I have, and would also say I am definately not a racist. People make remarks all of the time under stress, but doesn't mean that they actually mean it. I've worked in many different countries and have heard people make racist comments everywhere especially Scotland "feck off yer English bastard".
What I can't condone is when football fans conspire to be racist, where there are large sections of the crowd shouting racist chants etc. This is what needs to be looked at, not the odd sad individual, who would probably be turned on by his fellow fans.
Why oh why do we or footballers, need a black footballers association?

I want to know how far this goes - if you call someone a black bastard then it's discrimiation on grounds of race - If you call them a bastard it is not
If you call someone an old bastard and they are old is that just as bad?
If a black person calls a white person a white bastard is that as bad? Personally I wouldn't be bothered by it - but I live in a predominantly white society.

I was discriminated against at school for being diabetic - I was different - and I hated it - but it cost me a lot as people would not befriend me as the bullies told them my diabetes could spread aids and things like that - they made up names for me and I hated it - but if someone called me a diabetic bastard than never really bothered me (happened a few times) - this is not me being racist and I most certainly am not - just wonder where the line is drawn - If I called Demba Ba a bastard then that'd be OK (for the most part - in the heat of footballing moment) - but he is Black is he not? Oh **** it - I'll just keep my mouth shut!!

Most of us must have used language like this at some stage in our lives, and most of us would not consider ourselves as truly racist. I'm sure John Terry has (or had) many Black friends that know his true allegiance (probably NOT a racist ) but had his episode of temper tantrum in full view of the cameras !! Not very bright.

As far as I see it.......... we call people a Bastard now and then due to the heat of the moment. BUT.....the English language has taught us all to use adjectives to further enhance the accuracy of the Noun being used. Hence using the terms Fat, Baldy, Ugly, Ginger, Black, English ..... or whatever else appears appropriate (or inappropriate !!) at the time.

Can anyone tell me what would happen if the FA or PFA decided "We want an all white footballers association" - would we be classed as racists for asking for that and if so, why are they not racist for asking for an all black Footballers association?

Surely something like this should be balanced and have an equal measure of different race people

The boundaries are so blurred at times..One of my pet hates is the term 'positive racism', which js used to fast track ethnic minorities into higher positions in organisations such as the police and fire service, often at the expense of white candidates who have a better record.
