The north east media has somehow managed to convince parts of the population of Peterlee and the surrounding villages that they are Geordies and owe allegiance to Newcastle. They have done this very simply by promoting all things Newcastle and even inventing a 'toon army' tag for them. Goebells a propaganda expert believed that by simply telling people stuff over and over again they are so stupid they will believe you. Hence we now have thousands of 'plakka mags' who have been conned.

the mags from peterlee are quite simpley jonny come latley .when i lived there over 20years ago i would say 1in 100 was a mag . when i go back there and see them in there mag shirts now ,i have a little chuckle to myself and think smb (sad mag b***ards )

I can explain Goebbels influence. His words of er, wisdom were spread by Rudolph Hess.
