Brown struggled on Friday because Austin wasn't playing well, and was replaced at half time. Brown has been fairly decent this season, but needs help in the middle
liked warnocks comment saying we where all still in Jamaica with Rudi haha He had a poor game but tbh maybe he wasn't worth risking
YWBK, history speaks for itself mate. Was robbed by the ref against WBA for a blatent offside, lost the league championship, pitch invasion started by a guy in his 50's from the West Stand wanting to get to the ref, resulting in playing home games away from Elland Road. We get robbed in Paris, Sepp Mayer (Bayern goalie) gets the European cup and shakes it with delight at the Leeds end...resulting in bottles being showered down on him, followed by riots in the streets after. Banned from Europe for 3 years. We win the FA cup on Saturday, and made to play Wolves on the Monday to clinch the double, we got beat through fatigue and so we rioted. Massive fine by the FA, and banning orders. We play Coventry City at Hillsborough in FA cup semi final, we are all checked for tickets on route to Sheffield by the South Yorks police force, resulting in late KO and many of us missed upto 30mins of the first half, there was a certain Semi Final played there after and no check for tickets on approach to the ground, resulting in a massive disaster. These are afew examples what and how we have been treated in the past, so yes we are on our own, get used to it lads, we have got to stick together and battle on. MOT for ever
Thing is, I think Tonge needs to play in the centre, and between Brown or Austin I think we're all likely to choose Austin. Don't get me wrong, I rate Brown and I think he's a great player, especially in those feisty away games/local derbies like on friday. But unless we're going to play with 3 in the middle with two wingers and Becchio, Austin will almost always command a central midfield position, meaning there's 1 other space, and I think Tonge is a bit wasted out wide, that's all. He could have a much bigger impact and influence in the middle.
Exactly Kissa, I've tried to make this point to fans on other boards but you just get the same biased ****e back about how we're all scum etc. Weird that they don't see the irony that the same false image they create about us is what attracts the minority of scum in the first place.

Looks like he's going for Wenger's style, only he's got selective hearing instead of selective vision. Does he really think he can convince us that he only heard chants directed to him, with all the Wendies closer to him than us? Prick. Come on Sheldie, defend your mate again. You like defending the indefensible.
Anyone else seen this? http://www.owlsalive.com/featured/2012/10/22/people-in-glass-houses/ Thought it was worth sharing.

Kenny Byram Lees Pearce Drury Norris Austin Tonge Diouf Becchio Hall Think Peltier may be out with his ankle knock. Don't think we should need Browns cover at home v Charlton if we played those 3 centrally. Hall may not be match fit but he's worth a shot out wide as we are crying out for a fast, direct winger ala Gradel.
Me too although I'd probably replace Tonge with Green after the charlton game (don't wanna bring both Norris and Green back at the same time) but I'd consider the idea of playing Pelts instead of Byram
I tend to agree with you, LIW. Decent enough player, but not £800k worth. I'd prefer Byram (inexperience faults & all) every time & I wonder if NW would have splashed the cash if he realised the gem that was already at ER. I'm also not convinced that he's captain material either, but that's another argument.
