please log in to view this image We will be without Lee Peltier for the clash with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night. Peltier picked up a knock and was substituted in the draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night and Warnock admits he is a major doubt for this clash. Michael Tonge is expected to continue despite still suffering with the shoulder injury he picked up against Barnsley earlier this month. Midfielder Rodolph Austin will hope to have fought off the fatigue that forced him to be substituted at half time on Friday. David Norris impressed after coming off the bench on Friday night in place of Austin and he is pushing for a place in the starting eleven. Ryan Hall is still waiting to make his first Leeds appearance after signing from Southend United last week. Leigh Bromby, Ross McCormack, Davide Somma and Ramon Nunez all remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries. Charlton look set to be without striker Ricardo Fuller who suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat to Barnsley at the weekend. Matt Taylor, Yann Kermorgant and Rhoys Wiggins all remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries. Lets not forget, its ANOTHER midweek game, we never perform well, lets hope we can put that right on Tuesday night. M.O.T
Tuesday night matches. Who has put such a curse on us that we never turn up? Got the chance to go tonight without adding to bates's coffers, courtesy of a friend's season ticket being available. Might even have a Shandy or two. Or maybe 3 Stella, bottle of vodka and gallon of cider.
We need to be winning the home matches, I just hope we put on a better show than on Friday. Considering how Peltier played at LB he won't be a major loss, at the moment it seems that Warnock feels the need to 'squeeze' him into the team somewhere. I would prefer him back at RB or CB so if he is out I wouldn't mind seeing Drury get a chance. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/charlton-athletic/results I was surprised at Charltons away form, not as bad as I imagined it was going to be, they score goals..
Morning all. Austin will have had a couple of days to recover from his travelling & Friday's performance. Hall deserves his chance, as we need a definite attacking option out wide. If we start at a pace, with an 18 to 20k crowd behind up, we should have enough to see this one home.
Think we'll win comfortably..good game for us, an unbalanced-looking team without too much threat up front (Leeds arrogance). I'm a bit sick of picking up results whilst playing so poorly tbh..it's a short-termist view, cause our luck will run out. But i have seen us play well this season (thinking Wolves at home, Bristol City away to an extent) and i do believe we have a good side with everyone fit. 3-0 Norris, Lees, Becchio
I got a feeling we are going to hammer Charlton. I dont often say that about anyone in this league or indeed on a Tuesday. No basis, Just a gut feeling
Back to the match, Charlton Pathetic shall be organised, but if we get width and try the new lad out and fire the crosses in i'll go for 3-0 MOT
No offence taken - I was trying to use my pathetic sense of humour to slip the 'nonce' word in. Wasn't funny to start with, even less funny now that I've got to explain myself.
That's one of the least provocative things you've said about me You let yourself down with the following posts, but it was a good try
