Precisely. If racism can't be completely eradicated from society then how can people expect it to be eradicated completely from football? It seems like a smear to me. If Terry is by media/public definition - a racist, 90% of people in the UK are racists. I'm np honest enough to admit when I was younger I used a racial slur, not at someone but nonetheless I was young and ignorant of the meaning of the term. Many people my grandparents age still use racial slurs without knowing its PC, to them it's just the norm, now these People aren't racist at all. The message were now sending out to future generations is not that they shouldn't be using racial slurs, but were effectively saying anyone that has ever used a racial slur is a "racist", that can be demoralising for young children. People may laugh at me for saying this but we are not too far away from not being able to call a Black man "Black" or a White Man "White" due to fear of political correctness and fear of being branded a racist. It's pure and utter madness
